Everything as usual spot on.

This was our second visit to Ballater Campsite having stayed three years ago. The site is immaculate! It is so well maintained and it’s very obvious that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining its cleanliness (including fresh soapy water in the mop buckets within the shower blocks!). Our pitch was right next to the River Dee - a beautiful location. Ballater is within a few minutes walk where we used the local shops and cafes and the pub - it has everything you need. Victoria Week was taking place which was entertaining, particularly the dog show. We did the Seven Bridges Walk which takes you through some stunning scenery. We are already planning our trip back!

The campsite was amazing and needed for only very very minor things sorting.The toilet doors, mainly the ladies, needs soft shut door as it bangs in the night.Shower curtains need weighting so that when the shower is on they don’t lift with the heat movement of air.The only other thing is, I was in a Caddy and needed no electric and could have stayed in the tenting area, leaving the site to make more money as they would have had an extra space for a camper/motorhome which o ended up having to use.Or it needs a camper/motorhome area with no hook up

Excellent site, great facilities, and fantastic location

Ballater is a first class caravan and camping site.We had a tent pitch, hence the facilities were key. The shower block and toilets were spotless, at all times of the day and night.

Absolutely love Ballater campsite. Have visited many times over a long period which says it all. The grounds are kept beautifully with gardener working continuously to keep grass cut, weeding etc to keep all in order.Staff are very friendly. Toilet block impeccable as ever with staff visiting quite a few times during the day checking all is in order. Showers lovely and hot with no annoying button pressing every few minutes. If there is any one nit picky thing (and it is really minor!) could do with a shelf in shower area for holding shampoo/soap etc. Ballater is a lovely village with many independent shops and Co-op supermarket for groceries etc. There are also lots of lovely walks in the area too all clearly marked on the way. A good bus service covers surrounding area and also to Aberdeen if you require a city visit. Definitely hope to visit again.

We had a very peaceful week considering the site was full . The shower block and toilets are very well maintained and kept spotless . I used the laundry which was the same . Staff very friendly at reception . We will be back .

Lovely site, absolutely spotless facilities, well kept grounds, perfect location.......title says it all!

This caravan site is located within Ballater so everything is walking distance. The site is beautifully kept and well laid out. The toilet block was cleaned every morning as is usual on sites, but also checked several times during the day. Staff were friendly and the pitch was immaculate, not a single weed for my puppy to chew!

Ballater is one of our favorite sites staff are always very friendly and helpful and the site is always very tidy the shower and toliet block is always very clesn the location is perfect for us plenty of lovely walks i the area and the town has everything you need supermarket and plenty places to eat ouy
