Best camp site in the area

The caravan site is immaculate with well manicured grass areas, the facilities are excellent and kept spotless. Every year we go back there has always been some work done and new layouts provided.The site is on the edge of the village next to the golf course so perfect for a short stroll to the shops , restaurants, café 's and hotels . There is plenty to do on Royal Deeside , Balmoral and Braemar are quite close and Glenshee for mountain scenery is a half hour drive. We are regulars to Ballater and always enjoy ourselves there.

Top location, everything has been thought of, and that for a reasonable price!

Have been to Ballater caravan park several times before and have always found the park very clean and tidy.The staff are very friendly and helpful and the toilet block and showers immaculate.The annual duck festival was on so the village and park was busy.The weather was so so but we still had a great time.

First of all, English is not my native language, so I apologize for any mistakes. This campsite delivers everything you could possibly want. Spacious pitches, plenty of well-maintained greenery, and excellent road surfaces. The sanitary facilities are spacious, clean, and modern. I have never experienced such a powerful shower pressure at a campsite before—I loved it! It is in a perfect location relative to the city center and serves as a great starting point for walks and bike rides. Mountain bikers (MTB) in particular will really enjoy themselves here. Right next to the campsite is a fantastic golf course, which is highly recommended. If I had to pick one minor downside, it would be that the campsite is quite large, making it feel less quaint. But that is a matter of personal preference. We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time."

Caravan site is excellent would highly recommend cleanliness of the amenities is five star.

Been coming here since my student days in the 80's, have watch things evolve and change for the better over the years. The campsite is a sophisticated, immaculate, well organised haven. There is no noise after 10:30pm and we leave our tent unattended and it's always safe and exactly as we left it. I always either walk loch Muick or Craigendarroch. Easy walking and beautiful. We had the pleasure of the Duck race this year and my husband won £5 as his duck came in first ! Happy days and we will be back in September

The campsite is really good, tidy and clean with all facilities evena spot to wash your dog!!! Very nice! The location by the river is wonderful and close to the village so easy to reach restaurants and shops. Very nice campsite.

Warm welcome from Robbie and Mrs Robbie.Facilities spotless, checked regularly. Efficient , clean washing machines and dryers.Situation beside the Dee, superb.Pitches are big and well tended. No weeds.Garden areas pretty and well kept..Close proximity to town. No need to move campervan.Robbie very helpful when we had a van problem.Our fourth stay, hopefully not our last.Weather was truly Scottish but wouldn't stop us returning to Ballatet.Most other campsites could learn from the way this is organised and operated.
