Anwoth Holiday Park is set inland in the town of Gatehouse of Fleet and maintains the same blend of quality and service that has set its livelier sister park, Auchenlarie, apart from the rest. If peace and tranquility are for you, they can certainly be found at Anwoth. Some of the finest landscapes and scenery that have inspired Scotland’s authors and poets are on your doorstep. In fact, the whole area is a haven for wildlife. Herds of deer can be seen roaming the landscape and, if you can be very quiet, you may have the opportunity to see otters living in their natural habitat. Birds of prey, red squirrels and a host of other wildlife, are all there to be found when you explore. For the fisherman, several major rivers, including the Esk, Annan, Nith, Ken, Dee and Cree, all of them notable for salmon and trout fishing, are close at hand.
You can stay closer to home and use all the facilities available at our parent park Auchenlarie (just 5 miles away). There you can use all the fitness facilities; enjoy the entertainment and live shows in the Starlight Suite and sample some of the great food available at The Surfside Bistro and Takeaway.
All our hard standing pitches feature 16amp electric hook-up, water points & TV Points
At Anwoth, all touring pitches are on a large grassed area in the middle of the park.
Anwoth is within a short walking distance of the very attractive Gatehouse of Fleet town, with its restaurants and bars, deli, cafés, convenience stores and gift shops too.
Nearby is Cairnsmore of Fleet, a mountain in the Scottish Lowlands, on the edges of Galloway Forest Park. It is home to the most extensive area of open moorland in Galloway, and has been designated as a biosphere reserve.

A lovely overnight stay though would serve well for a longer break. This quiet site is very handy in being adjacent to the village of Gatehouse of Fleet. The village is good to buy things you need and to enjoy walking around. Also the site is clean and we'll laid out with good facilities of toilets, showers and sinks for washing up. Would be very happy to stay here again. Roger Dale. ( Cumbria ).
Brilliant small site on the outskirts of the town, five minutes walk to the spa shop and all other shops and pubs, Mark the warden is brilliant and very helpful, the site is always tidy as are the facilities.
Brilliant site, facilities and management. Please think about staying open all year as our friends would love to keep coming here , as would family in their new van.
Great site, loved it and will definitely be back lots, the only thing I would say hopefully the toilets can be updated and separate for men and women, site is spotless, friendly, safe and close to the beautiful town of Gatehouse, and finally the park warden was so nice thank you for making our stay lovely and safe x
We have stayed on the site three times now and have continued to be impressed with the cleanliness and management of the site. It is quiet yet situated in the heart of a bay village. We stay because we have a friend who lives nearby but we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone - as long as there’s still a space for us next time.
Good stopover when touring, easy access , friendly staff, facilities clean.Village amenities on doorstep.
was welcomed straight away, clean and impressive shower block, didn't expect to see baths
Very handy for Gatehouse of Fleet. Quiet and very well maintained. Very helpful warden, who keeps facilities immaculate.
I Could only give this site 5 stars it would have been more if it were possible, the manager was most helpful, the facillities were very clean and tidy, the shower areas were clean and plenty of hot water , places to leave clothes when bathing, just a small thing but even somewhere to put your soap whilst having a shower. I beleive the shower ares are being upgraded this year I hope they have the same facilities as the pesent ones.Would highly recomend.
We have been to Anwoth many times but in a static caravan but this time we were in a motorhome and it was as good as ever
