Absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge we stayed in was spotless, warm and had all the essentials we needed for our 2 week Christmas stay. The family-friendly environment made it the perfect place for all the family to have fun and relax with easy access to local towns and beautiful walks. The caravan park is beautifully maintained, safe, and welcoming, with everything you need for a stress-free stay. The pub is a great place to relax and the food is delicious with a great children’s menu. We couldn’t fault it and would happily recommend it to anyone and have already done so! Thank you Akebar Park, we can’t wait to return!

Had a fabulous week at Akebar Parkover the festive season. Nice cosy warm caravan exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed to cook our christmas dinner was in the caravan .. Nice litte touches a nice lit up christmas tree .and the fireplace was also decorated We stayed in the wensledale caravan with our pet dog Nipper who absolutely loved the dog park ..Unfortunately we were unable to book the Friars Head for a meal as it was fully booked ,however ŵe had plenty food so didnt spoil our break . Well done Akebar Park and Thank you so much for an enjoyable break .

Lovely quiet park very clean and tidy .stayed in. Dog friendly caravan spotlessly clean very warm and cosy .in a lovely setting .visited leyburn had a nice meal at the Bolton arms and a walk along the leyburn shawl.good value for money .

The van we stayed in was lovely, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The surroundings were delightful and extremely well maintained. We were constantly entertained Bt the antics of thr ‘resident’ ducks ans swans!

We had a great stay and were really pleased with the accommodation. The lodge was brand new and had all the facilities we needed including a coffee machine and airfryer which was unexpected. The hot tub was a real bonus and the kids loved it as did we. Added bonus was to have the Friers pub where we enjoyed a great bonfire night and a meal on the following evening. This is a real gem of a place! Also to mention that the lodge was spotlessly clean with complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels. Great value for money for what we felt was a 5 star stay.

Lovely park, so pretty. Lovely facilities, great golf course and friendly helpful staff. Caravans clean and well stocked my only suggestion for improvement was the beds weren’t that comfortable, normal for caravan rentals but I have had better.

The showers are poor. Did not spray on you properly and got your clothes wet.Lighting is poor very dark when walking from touring to friars head had to take a torch.Tall street light outside our caravan not working reported came to clean but did not work reported again not working.Friars head was lovely all staff friendly and food was great (parmo night).

Overall a good weekend, food at the friars head was excellent on both occasions, the site was clean and tidy, toilets were clean, the only complaint we had is that the showers were cold no matter what time we tried to use them.

We had a great time staying at Akebar Park. Staff were friendly and lodge was lovely and clean and within a great setting. My daughter liked the play area and the mini golf. We also made friends with the resident ducks that would come to see us. Would have loved to have been able to book a table in the Friars Head but it was completely booked up for the time we were here so found food elsewhere in the places we visited including Whitby, York and the nearby Bolton Arms in Leyburn. A great few days away.
