Lovely caravan park however I did believe I had booked Glen Luce with the swimming pool-I feel this needs to be a bit clearer. A hoover in the caravan would be helpful.

2nd time coming here, easy to get to & love the size of hot tub & the cleanliness of the lodge, my only complaint as such is that it’s slightly over priced which puts me off booking a couple of times a year as I would but very pricey for a couple of nights away

The park is lovely, it's quiet and has great views. Can't fault the lodge, had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. However rhe hot tub bleached swimsuits and broke out the skin of a few of us. It has been reported to the holiday park. Hopefully this was just a one off and we were unlucky.

We stayed in a lovely lodge and the hot tub was amazing. Although, as you're right next to other lodges it would've been nice to have a curtain over the glass door and panel as we kept having to put a towel up for some sort of privacy as the peoples kitchen next door was directly looking in to it which was quite uncomfortable. Other than that regarding the lodge it was great! Staff at reception were lovely and really kind. I was hesitatent before we arrived as I'd phoned a couple weeks prior to book afternoon tea and a man had shouted at me quite aggressively on the phone because he couldn't hear me even though he was the one driving. I don't deal with situations like that well due to circumstances and was quite worried to phone back until a few days before we arrived and luckily got through to a lovely lady. I was quite shocked being spoken to like that when it's not a cheap place to stay and left me feeling anxious.Overall after staying there we do want to come back! Maybe with more people so we can split the cost lol. But Hot tub and lodge were so great for a quiet weekend to spend time together as not much to do locally but Sandhead Bay was a lovely visit! And reception staff were really great, especially the lassie that moved up 3 years ago and has 2 labs, I forgot to get her name I'm sorry! But she was fantastic!!So despite a couple negatives, the good outweighed the bad in the end, hopefully it's taken on board and we're looking forward to coming back when we can!

A great holiday. We are able to sleep like a baby so so comfortable. The views are wonderful and the area first class.

The staff were so helpful, in the lead up to our stay as well as when we were there, accommodating all our wishes. The lodges are fantastic value, absolutely beautiful

Granddaughters loved the hot tub. Cabin was spacious and comfortable.

We decided to get away for a few days for new year and before we had to start back work / school etc. Our requirements were a lodge, hot tub, quiet location, pet friendly so we could get away and chill out. We were definitely not disappointed the lodge (lake view) was spotlessly clean and was very well furnished and stocked for our stay, only slight criticism was lack of glasses for beers etc. only had plastic pint pots (which I get if you are using the hot tub, but not in the lodge). The hot tub was cleaned daily, private and was a great way to relax, we used it at least twice a day. All the staff were really friendly and the warden was great craic. We enjoyed what the surrounding area had to offer; from long dog walks on Sandhead, fish and chip from Portpatrick and watching the waves crash against the rocks on the costal walk.Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend it.

We stayed in one of the argyle lodges, it was spotless, had everything we needed for our stay, beautiful surroundings & very peaceful, no on site entertainment but was only there for 2 nights so wasn't that bad really, would prefer entertainment if staying longer, staff very helpful & hot tub cleaned every morning, great value for money & will definitely return
