Friendly helpful staff welcoming onto site. Member of staff came within 30 mins of arrival to make sure everything was in order and we knew how to work tv, oven, dishwasher, heating, hot tub etc. Spotlessly clean lodge even though it was a dog friendly lodge. In fact the whole site has a very high standard of cleanliness. Very reasonably priced making this the best value for money break I can remember. Will definately visit again.

I have stayed at Whitecairn Holiday park many times and I only have great things to say about it. Staff are very friendly, the park is spotless and the lodges have everything you need. During my stay we ventured out to Portpatrick where I had a fantastic lunch at the Port Pantry. I will always return to this holiday park as I know that the quality is 5*

Thank you for another fantastic weekend. Spotlessly clean lodge, hot tub and park. A home from home. Lovely Adrian always checks in to make sure we’re all set up and the reception staff Debbie and Elizabeth are always to helpful.

We arrived around half 4, were given a map of the site with directions to our lodge. Once we arrived Adrian came and showed us how to use the hot tub, how to use the heating, how to get the Wi-Fi and a map of the area with a list of different things to do and it included the distances as well. They came round every morning to clean the hot tub and on our last day didn’t mind the kids standing watching as they emptied and cleaned it and asking 10 million questions. It’s a lovely quiet site only 15/20 mins from Stranraer where there are loads of shops and an amazing Chinese. The lodge had 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom 1 en-suite and plenty of space for the 6 of us and the dog. Will defo be back again to stay

The Mulberry lodge was first class clean and supplied everything you needed.Downside were the decking back door was sticking so you had to force it to lock it and the 3/4 of bulbs at the decking were not working so dark to see but that is all I can fault but that is just wear and tear.Would have loved to try the afternoon tea but unfortunately this wasn’t available for the week.The staff are very helpful friendly and there if you need them As there is no shop or pub in the park it’s is a walk or quick drive down to Glenluce where there is key store etcThere is also take way delivery services on Thur and Fri Just Eat and Uber Eats do not deliver to this park so recommend you get some food shopping to stock your cupboard or lodge with Would recommend 100%

Our lodge was beautiful, spotless and we were provided with all the essential cleaning products we would need for our holiday, as well as lovely touches of decorative items throughout to give the lodge a homely feel. Our hot tub was cleaned everyday too. Towels were provided. The lodge itself was set up on a hill, about a 5 minute drive from the town so very quiet. Just what we needed. No shops onsite but the reception sold fresh eggs daily. And the nearest convenience store was in the local town. When we had an issue with the dishwasher, it was fixed the same day. Only problem was a super sensitive smoke alarm that went off randomly through the night - full alarm not just battery peep. We did ask and they replaced the battery but the fault remained so we did have to disconnect it. Although we told them it had gone off and disturbed our sleep, there was no offer of apology. We just disconnected it for the rest of our holiday, probably not the safest. Regardless, we would return

The Tig to Go takeaway menu from on site was lovely, really good food delivered to our lodge.

Hi. The stay at Whitecairn was ok unfortunately the weather was not kind. You should not go unless you have a car It is a mile and a half from village up a steep hill. The caravan was very comfortable and nice but a couple of things I said to office on leaving. A shower mat or a stick on handle in shower for aged people as this could be accident waiting to happen Otherwise it was fine. Won’t be back as we tend to visit other sites in Scotland.
