Our award-winning park has direct access to a secluded beach overlooking the picturesque Wigtown Bay and only a short drive from the stunning Galloway Hills. We are situated on the beautiful coastline of Dumfries and Galloway.

Touring and tent pitches are situated in three fields within our Park. We have pitches overlooking the spectacular Solway Coast, some pitches are alongside a burn with the remaining pitches having views to the distant hills. All pitches have electric, water hook-up and TV points.

Our range of holiday homes for hire offer an unrivalled combination of quality and value and are available either for multiples of seven night bookings, midweek or weekend short breaks. Our bookings start from a Monday or a Friday, so we can accommodate weekend breaks even at our busiest times. Longer breaks are available too.

Indoor Heated Swimming Pool: Come along and enjoy our indoor heated swimming pool with unisex changing rooms (including baby changing facilities). Our swimming pool is 16.5m x 7.5m and 1.2 m deep, incorporating a shallow area for younger children. High and low season opening times will apply

Gymnasium: Our gym contains a variety of exercise machines. Feel fitter, healthier – tone that body! Weights, free weights, exercise bikes and rowers, treadmills and steppers… they’re just waiting for you! Fancy a holiday workout???

The Rob n Roll Restaurant & Takeaway is the place to enjoy a drink and a bar meal. Take your pick from a wide of meals from our delicious menu. On sunny days and warm evenings take a seat on the terrace and make the most of eating in the wonderful fresh air. Craig and his Team have some great specials and children’s options.

Really good customer service with phone call before arrival, emails and texts on when caravan was ready and a lady coming to the caravan to check all was OK. The caravan was clean, spacious and well laid out. It could do with some small items like washing up liquid, soap and towels.Great location next to beach and good big play park for the kids. The swimming facilities are small with a bit of wait for a cubicle at change over time. The floor was filthy too during this period so recommended staff are on top of that a bit more. All staff were friendly and chatty which was lovely and a good representation of the site.

In general the holiday was really good, good sized hard standing pitch, good level of entertainment facilities for the size of the park and friendly staffI would however recommend the toilet blocks (down next to hard standing) are looked at daily by maintenance team to ensure all working correctly, couple of small issues experienced for the duration of weeks stayI would highly recommend that there is a mop and bucket left in every shower room so that this can be used by each person at end of each use, floors were always wet and mucky because of the weather and this would really help. I have witnessed this method being used on other sites around Scotland and it works really well

Caracaj G1 needs to have all its windows sorted asap, there is a draft from them all especially the bedrooms, we had to keep the central heating on constantly to try and keep the caravan warm especially for the kids and dogs. All staff are lovely apart from one older, heavy set gentleman who works in the restaurant, he was so rude he had no people skills, no patience for the kids just not a nice person that clearly shouldn’t be in a job like that. Everything else was absolutely fine

I have to start off with how clean and tidy the site is, the workers are always seen checking the site. The toilet blocks were clean all the time too which was really good, the showers were amazing powerful and lovely and hot.We were on a hard standing purple pitch under the trees, the crows were nesting and the little beck behind our pitch was flowing so it was lovely listening to the nature. We have been used to going to haven sites which has a lot more to do, we love an arcade so unfortunately for us this one was not fun at all very small, my kids love to go swimming but when they seen there was no slide they didn't want to use the pool.If you're after a chilled break away then go for it but unfortunately we need a little more to do when on a site.I don't recommend taking your dog if you are just going to leave it in the caravan whilst you go out as we had 2 neighbors do this and the dogs were howling for hours it was so sad to hear. Lovely staff, very clean, thank you.

We booked the touring circles area and there were 7 spaces in each, the one we were in had 5 permanent caravans in it and it was very untidy, not our kind of park.

We visited Auchenlarie for the Easter weekend and overall had a lovely time. We stayed in our own caravan on a touring pitch. The toilet block was very clean and modern. The toilets were attended to by the cleaners more than once per day which really impressed me. The entertainment schedule which included Easter activities was great for the kids. What let things down was our experience of Sunday night dinner in the restaurant. We were not advised on booking or when seated at the table that the restaurant was running a reduced menu. We ordered on the app from the normal menu to be told we couldn’t have some of the items available so we had to reorder. There was a significant delay in the meals being served. Our table was booked for 5.30pm and the adults did not get their meals until 7.45pm which is unacceptable especially as there was a reduced menu. Overall we would caravan again at Auchenlarie however would avoid eating at the restaurant.
