"Fantastic, spotless site"

My family, 2 adults and an 11 year old and 7 year old, enjoyed a fantastic half term at Woodhouse Park. The facilities were spotless. The shower block had great heated flooring, but the push button on the shower was too quick to turn off and it took a while to heat up so you needed to shower holding this. Not an easy task! The site itself is lovely and spacious, you don't feel you are on top of each other. The walks around the site are lovely and great for dog walks. The pub on site is fantastic and contrary to other reviews we'd read before going we had no problem getting a table. The site doesn't have great lighting at night, which is ideal for sleeping, but do remember to take a torch with you to go to the shower block or pub. The kids activities such as the soft play etc are good, but it seemed unusual to have to pay for these on top of the site fees. As such we didn't use them. Although it was half term where we are from it wasn't in Yorkshire so there were no events running whilst we were there and the site was very quiet. We found lots of fantastic things to do around the area, Malham Cove, Brimham Rocks, Ayesgarth Falls, York and Harrogate.

"Half term break with the children"

Mr A Priore - Stayed with family, Oct 2019

We booked a pod at short notice. The camping was quite during the week. We’ve enjoyed the NT attractions nearby, highly recommended. The everything in the campsite looks so clean and tidy. We’ve very much enjoyed our time there and we’re looking forward to come back.

Spent five days on this lovely clean campsite in October All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. If you stay here the Barn restaurant on site is a must to visit, especially On a Monday night which is steak night, two steak meals and a bottle of wine for £22 which was a real treat. Plenty of local attractions to visit being only a few miles from Ripon we visited Foutains Abby and water gardens, The Workhouse, Police station/jail, the Court house, Ripon Cathedral, Middleham castle (12 miles), and Ripon shopping area

"COMFY CAMPING"

This was an ideal compromise for grandparents(us!) and three grandchildren 4-10 years old. A few home comforts...camp beds for the oldies and a heater for warmth but still had the feeling of camping in the woods. A lovely pod site..especially liked the well lit access... A lovely pod site..especially liked the well lit access path through the woods and the wheelbarrows provided to transport your equipment! All added to the fun for the kids. 😃 Soft play area for under 10's especially useful in wet weather!

We stayed for a week in a camping pod. The pod and washrooms were very clean and warm. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the on site pub served good beer and great steak and chips. We stayed as a couple and the pod was big enough for us with our equipment.... We stayed for a week in a camping pod. The pod and washrooms were very clean and warm.
