Quiet relaxing site in a great location to visit the Yorkshire Dales. Facilities clean and friendly owners. The key system for the showers/toilets can be a pain especially as there is only one key per family. The camping area would also benefit from a fridge/freezer for those who are not using electric.or don't have a fridge/cool box.

"Lovely site"

Mr & Mrs Fallows - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

We have been coming to Wood Nook for many years first as tent campers now campervan. Love this site and Michael and his family are always friendly and helpful. We like the way the old buildings have been used for facilities.

We loved our stay here, facilities were clean and water hot. Owners were lovely and friendly. Tent field had great views. Kids loved making dens in the woods and playing on the park. Lots of places to visit in local area. Can't wait to go back.

It's location is excellent for tranquillity with excellent views of the dales. New pot wash facilities on camping site is a good addition. Clean toilets and shower facilities. Pleasant owners who were even helpful at giving me a jump start when we were leaving! A good base for accessing many places within the dales. We will definitely be visiting again.

We came especially to do a walk round Malham Cove and found the site on internet maps. My husband had some lovely rides from the door on his mountain bike. I walked a lovely 12 mile walk over the moors and never saw a sole. Scenery wise and being able to walk from the door in the heart of the Yorkshire dales the site is amazing. However, if you were a novice tower of a caravan, then one section leading to the site, you just hope that nothings coming your way, which unfortunately a tarmac lorry was for us. But thats no-ones fault, just adds to the excitement.

The facilities are immaculate & park as a whole beautiful, clean & peaceful. On arrival the road was being resurfaced but we had been contacted prior to arrival to make us aware and the work had minimum impact on us. There is a spar 5 mins drive away which was handy and the site is in a perfect location to visit many attractions. The pitches were a good size and we had a wonderful view of rolling hills from ours which was lovely to wake up to in the morning! I only wish fire pits were allowed as this is something we enjoy doing in the evenings. However, this is only a small issue and hasn't prevented us from wanting to return. Would not hesitate to reccomend Wood Nook to anybody looking for some peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

Facilities were lovely and clean with lots of hot water and felt homely. Nearby village of Grassington was really beautiful and idyllic. Lots of good places locally to eat and highly recommend breakfast at the Hall pub on the main road. This was a lovely place to stay and we would go there again any day.
