We stayed between Christmas and New Year and the site was lovely and quiet. Great walks and cycling straight from the site; the map we bought at reception when we arrived was perfect! The only slight downside was the toilets being in a separate block than the showers. Having only one key to enter both, we had to make sure we went at the same time which isn’t always practical. As it was so quiet we didn’t have to queue to use the facilities but I’m sure during busier months there could be a wait. Despite this we will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

The campsite staff / owner was very helpful explaining everything well even giving us a local map showing us directions , idilic sire andxquiet . I would recommend this site . The road was a narrow up the site but we mastered it and it was our first trip using our motor home all in all 10 out of 10 !

Arrived off season (7th December), chose the site for it's location to Grassington for the Dickensian markets, so it was quite busy but still peaceful, horrendous weather for the weekend but the site remained relatively mess free, good loose chippings for the hard standing areas and the grassed areas weren't boggy at all, we pitched on the higher level in the back corner, this is the furthest point from the showers and toilets but still only 3 mins to walk to. showers nice and hot, toilets nice and clean and all heated. It actually 1.9 miles to Grassinton village center along fairly quite narrow lanes until you reach Threshfield where the nearest Spar/garage( really good stock) and pub are located, Old Hall inn was nice, fire lit, dog friendly and really nice food and beers and a nice welcome.

Had a lovely weekend at the site with visits to Grassington and Skipton christmas markets. Michael made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of information on nearby attractions and transport options. The site was only 5 minutes walk from the park and ride bus service into Grassington which we visited for the christmas festival. The cost for the service was per car parked at the nearby quarry so free to pedestrians from the site.
