My partner and I decided to have an adventure and looked online at somewhere to stay, we came across a camping pod on a campsite and was unsure what to expect to begin with. When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome from the staff, we were dealt with straight away, given instructions on our stay and how to operate everything and sent to find our pod. Once we had located the pod which was very easy to find, we found that the electrics weren’t working for the heater and light, we mentioned this to the staff and the problem was dealt with straight away. The campsite is set in beautiful ground with a short walk to a train line and fishing lake. In the evening we made reservations for the local pub ‘The Buck Inn’, the food was lush and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we were unable to decide on a pudding! Although the pod is as simple as can be it creates a nice cosy feel and is great value for money if your looking for somewhere as a stop off. The facilities are all clean and easy to find and there are many fresh water taps around the camp. Definitely recommend for those adventure goers!

Grassed area immaculate and even although building works were ongoing this area too was very well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, facilities spotless and the pitches large and well spaced out. Would have no hesitation in recommending and will almost certainly return
