It is a gem of a camp site lots to do in the area and the site it,s self is very clean tidy with very helpful staff. The facilities on site are second to none very clean warm and covid secure which in these times is a good thing. The walk round the park to the fishing late is a delight as well as other walks in the area. We booked the last weekend in October and the weather was not too bad but for the time of the year you do not expect any thing else. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked for a week next May it can not come to soon. After the year we have had roll spring time.

Its clearly had a lot of money and attention paid on it, and it shows. The facilities, from the underfloor heated shower block, to the well spaced, large and fully serviced, level pitches are all very well done. Staff on site were fantastic, friendly and always able to help. Rules were well thought out and with safety in mind, nothing silly that shouldn't be adhered to anyway. The weather was horrendous (obviously not a fault of the park) but the site handled the deluge very well with no obvious flooding, and well drained pitches. Good little shop selling everything you need. Fishing lake was very pleasant, sadly the fish weren't hungry, however the warden was chatty and helpful, and knowledgeable about the lake. Playpark was well equipped and the kids loved playing on there. On leaving, we were even offered the opportunity to leave the caravan on site for a few days due to the high winds wed face towing home. A kind offer we declined due to being back to work and not having time to come back and get it, however little touches like that make all the difference. We will definitely be returning. Disliked: Sat Nav takes you in the wrong way. Not really a fault of the park, but something to be aware of. Look for road signs, don't just follow the sat nav.

A little sparse but when all the trees grow which have been planted between pitches it will be lovely. Toilet block clean and great underfloor heating. The only thing I would say a mop or something to take some of excess water away would help. Maybe this was due to corvid not having anything. We had trouble first night with our electric plug and the warden kindly lent us one till we bought a new one on Saturday up a at Ropers caravan shop.
