A well run and welcoming site in a lovely area, the washrooms and toilets are first class if the local pub had been a wee bit nearer it would have everything.

We’ve just had a lovely stay at Orcaber Farm the toilets and showers are one of the cleanest and neatest that we’ve seen. The farm is within easy access from the A65 but also it’s far enough away that you don’t hear any traffic noise. The site is nicely laid out and separate from the working side of the farm, there are cows and horses in some of the surrounding fields which you’d expect in the countryside but your well secured from them with the crafted dry stone walls that are built in this part of the country. You pay 50p for a shower which is well long enough even if you have to condition your hair, I don’t have to but according to the wife it’s was long enough. You wake up to a lovely view of the three peaks and the peaceful surrounding countryside it’s definitely picturesque scenery. The staff are friendly and willing to deal with any requests you may have. There is cctv security and free WiFi. The local train station is about 1.5 miles away with free car parking, you can travel to Leeds or Morcambe Bay but do check your time tables online before you leave, you pay for your ticked on the train as there is a conductor service. There are some lovely walks in the area and there’s plenty of leaflets in the information office to help you choose where to go. All in all it’s a lovely family campsite.

"Great location and lovely site"

Ms C Clark - Stayed with friends, Jun 2019

Excellent site, well run and maintained. Neil took care to place me in my van in a spot which my friends could pitch their tent next to. Spotlessly clean facilities, and gorgeous setting.
