"Overcrowded"

As said in other reviews the pitches are very close and the site appears overcrowded. Reversing into the pitch was difficult and took several maneuvers to get into it. Luckily we returned from a morning walk as the people opposite were trying to get their van out.... As said in other reviews the pitches are very close and the site appears overcrowded. Reversing into the pitch was difficult and took several maneuvers to get into it. Luckily we returned from a morning walk as the people opposite were trying to get their van out. They needed to turn across the top of our pitch but that was the only place to park our car. We moved the car but they still used several maneuvers to avoid hitting our a-frame. Apart from this the site was clean and tidy and in a good location to walk into Filey and the beach.

"Cheap and cheerful"

Miss E Liddell - Stayed with partner, Sep 2019

Disappointed that in this day and age showers are not free! Mirrors in shower block are useless unless you’re a dwarf on in a wheelchair. The washing up facilities were dirty ( other inconsiderate campers). The site just look generally unkempt, leaves all over etc. Is... Disappointed that in this day and age showers are not free! Went with 2 grandkids for first time in the caravan. The site had a good playpark and a nice walk down to the sea. My only criticism is the hard standing for the awning, the stones should have been smaller. Even with camping mats shoes were required. But toilet block was clean and amply big enough and the staff are superb.

The site was just as described on website and very well kept. We liked having our own water tap. Our caravan is continental (door on rh side) and on arrival it was stated that these are not usually accepted due to awning and fire regulation issues. However a way was kindly found to accommodate us without impinging on either. We were told that this rule is stipulated on the website; it may be there but we didn't see it when booking and can't find it for looking now!
