My wife, toddler and I had a great stay in a roundhouse whilst I raced the Ard Moors enduro bike race. Lovely location and superb biking trails in the area, will definately return

The pods are good value, and a better alternative if you don't want to camp, but want more of a camping experience. Areas for improvement in the pods could be - provide a few more kitchen utensils - BBQ tools, bottle opener for example (or stress that they aren't provided) and a few more hanging hooks could go up where one of the paintings was.

"Poor"

P Hall - Stayed with family, Sep 2021

Pod was only surface clean. Skirting boards were dirty, no hot water as boiler broken. Toilet flush broken. Staff were friendly till I complained then found them condescending. Did not use cafe/ restaurant. Surrounding area is magnificent but would not recommend a stay.

All pitches marked out and I was very impressed with the size of the pitches. Great to be able to get onto the Cleveland Way Toilets and showers were always clean when we used them. Went for a meal in the restaurant and that was very good. Thought we were going to have a nice peaceful weekend but on one of the evenings we were all very scared as we could hear men shouting and howling all around the campsite who were not actually camping. I know this is out of your control but someone on site for some security would have been good. Other than that we had a fantastic time walking on the Cleveland Way

"Pod stay"

It was very quiet and peaceful. However, there’s no security for at the gate for Pod village and random people keep coming in to have a look while we were there. Wash Facilities are great for families and your room doesn’t end up soaked due to shower as there isn’t one in the roundhouse. Tea at Blackwell ox has to be a must when you stay here. Only problem we had was 1 brush to share between the houses as the grass was recently cut so lots was transferred into the rooms from going in and out, Would definitely stay again

Good Evening Craig, Thank you for your lovely review of our site. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I am pleased to tell you that after having a guest on check out mention that a brush would be handy in the Roundhouses that there is now a dustpan and sweeping brush in each unit. Thank you for the constructive comment and for allowing us to improve, we greatly appreciate it. I look forward to welcoming you back on site soon.
