"A good place."

Mr J Robinson - Stayed with partner, Sep 2019

A pleasant stay in a pleasant place with a good ambience. Site well-maintained, with a handy shop. Rubbish area continues to be a niggle. Wifi spasmodic. Caravan generally good, though fairly basically supplied with cooking utensils, crockery etc. Good job we only... A pleasant stay in a pleasant place with a good ambience. Site well-maintained, with a handy shop. Rubbish area continues to be a niggle. Wifi spasmodic. Caravan generally good, though fairly basically supplied with cooking utensils, crockery etc. Good job we only needed the main bedroom as the second one was minuscule. Storage for clothes was not very good. Weather was fine, though, which meant we were well able to put up with the various disadvantages.

"Our last Stay at Bowland Park"

We really enjoyed our 3rd or was it our 4th stay at the Park and have rebooked the Lodge again for next May. We really enjoyed our 3rd or was it our 4th stay at the Park and have rebooked the Lodge again for next May. I was disappointed with a couple of things, first the swimming pool I didn't use it this time as I couldn't go in on my own and my husband recently had a big Op so swimming was out of the Question. Also not been able to get on the internet was a disappointed, we had no signal in the Lodge. My husband much preferred the old traditional which was on the site, we can't comment on the food as we did'nt eat there . The place was full of barking Dogs when we called in for a drink. When we came a few years ago we could hire Bikes at the back of the Dog and Partridge sadly the hire shop has closed , perhaps a facility to be able to hire Bikes on the site would be an idea. I believe the nearest one now is in Settle. The one at the top of the hill was always busy.

"3rd holiday done .. 4th holiday will be booked!!"

Bowland is a beautiful place! Although the drive to find the park on my first holiday was a bit long winded, I got use to it. The site is kept looking lovely and the staff here are diamonds! Although the drive to find the park on my first holiday was a bit long winded, I got use to it. The site is kept looking lovely and the staff here are diamonds! No, there isn't splash parks and live entertainment, but what they have got is beautiful walks, stunning Crow Trees Inn (great food btw), a funky games area and pool, fantastic little play areas for the kids and best of all, PEACE! I've booked 3 holidays with Bowland (only just got home on Monday from the 3rd) and I've had a blast. The local town, Skipton, is great! The castle is one to visit especially if you've got the kids. Plenty of things to do around the area. Canal boat rides, stump cross caverns (although, if you wanted too, a drive over to white scar caves is fab). Mother Shiptons is over by Harrogate way, and that's even better than I remember as a child. Hesketh Farm is great! So much more to see... I simply cannot recommend Bowland any more! If you want somewhere to book, without spending an arm and a leg, Bowland is the place to go. Beautiful countryside, stunning site! What are you waiting for?.....
