Tregroes Touring And Camping Site is a small, family friendly site, situated in the tranquil Pembrokeshire countryrside just outside the coastal town of Fishguard and close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
Our site caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and basic facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point. Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, Fishguard has a wide variety of eateries to satisfy hungry tummies and is only a 20 minute walk away.
Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!
If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!
Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.

Really liked this site & hope to return next year for a longer break. Good facilities spotlessly clean & felt very safe with the social distancing measures put in place. Very good, well kept, well organised site, very efficient booking in, taking into account Covid-19 rules. Only 20 minute walk into Fishguard and about half an hour's stroll into Goodwick along dedicated footpaths so easy access to pubs, restaurants and the local harbours. Everything you could look for in a campsite and a restaurant on-site for eat in or takeway, although we didn't take advantage of this facility but spoke to another camper who highly recommended it. Definitely one to revisit.

When we arrived in the evening our pitch number and information was pinned to the reception door along with a WiFi code. As we were going to our pitch we were told where the toilets and restaurant were. We were booked in for food at 8.20 and the staff and the food were fabulous. Our dogs were welcome too. The site is stunning, peaceful and well kept. We loved our pitch which was the gravel and grass electric hookup. The owners were so lovely. There was handsanitiser everywhere including the recycling spot. The yurts, cabin and pods looked amazing too and lovely and private. The site was an excellent base for us to explore and we went to Fishguard beach and visited the Fort with amazing views. We also went to St David's, Traeth Beach and Poppit Sands where we enjoyed the icecream even the dogs had a tub. We would definitely go back and we would like to try the breakfast next time as we heard its cracking. We recommend Tregroes and had an overall lovely stay and would love to go back.

Due to Covid we were apprehensive of camping but we didn’t need to worry. The site was relatively flat, our pitch (no 16) was perfect and on the end of a line as requested (evening sun) with plenty of space. The facilities were very good and clean - sanitiser provided everywhere, toilets and kitchen area, and the hand wash was fabulous! We went mid-September in our camper van. There were some motor homes presumably using their own facilities- it felt like we had the toilets and showers to ourselves! Plenty of hot water in washbasins and showers, all free and WiFi which worked perfectly. The weather was magical all week, and we had an amazing time. The location was brilliant for exploring the north and south coast without covering too many miles and it was an easy walk into Fishguard and the beautiful harbour. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We had a short break at Tregroes Caravan, Camping and Glamping Park, staying in ‘Y Caban’. The little cabin was lovely. The sofa converted to a very comfortable bed and the living area included TV, electric log effect fire, a little hanging space for clothes and also various drawers and small shelves for storage. There are several plugs/ charging points. The shower in the cabin is small, but adequate. We enjoyed the outside space, barbecuing and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and using the cute outdoor kitchen. During our stay we had a couple of takeaway meals from the onsite ‘Tregroes Pantry’, both of which were yummy. During our (too) short stay, we went on a couple of good walks, including one around Strumble Head, where we saw lots of seals. We also escaped sea fog and hit the beach at Saundersfoot. Swimming in the sea in September was amazing. We loved our stay, both on the site and in the area and would definitely consider staying here again.
