Park Description

Plas Farm Caravan & Lodge Park is an award winning 5 star park in the heart of beautiful North Wales, a perfect place to stay and explore the area. This stunning touring park is set in 12 acres of un spoilt countryside, situated in the grounds of a 16th century listed farmhouse and is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. There are acres of room for the kids to run around and the dog-friendly site also has it's own woodland walks.

The love and care that goes into maintaining Plas Farm is remarkably evident. Plas Farm touring pitches are maintained to the highest standards. They offer a range of pitches from hard standing with electric to very generous, fully serviced Premier pitches. A campers kitchen is provided with a toaster, kettle and microwave, plus a laundry area. The site also do an ordering service from the local shop, order your newspapers the day before and it will be in reception for you the next morning.

The park can be found just 3 miles from the A55 and the North Wales Coastline. It is located on the outskirts of the small village of Betws yn Rhos (voted ‘Best village in Wales’ in 2003), home to Silver Birch, a quality 18 hole Golf & Footgolf course, the local public house, The Wheatsheaf Inn, a local shop and a 3 spired church.

There are plenty of local walks with spectacular views of the North Wales hills and coast. Adults and children can enjoy miles of coastal cycle paths. The major towns of Conwy, Llandudno, and Betws Y Coed are all easily accessible to Plas Farm and there are coastal and countryside sights and activities close to hand including watersports, steam railways, hill walking, and trout and salmon fishing in the River Conwy and River Elwy.

When it comes to attractions, North Wales offers something to suit every taste; you will find the list endless. The World Heritage Site Conwy Castle and the fifteenth century Bodelwyddan Castle with a maze and formal garden and Bodnant gardens are less than 10 miles away. Greenwood forest park (voted the best family attraction in North Wales for three years running), Zip world, Surf Snowdonia, The Great Orme tramway, Welsh Mountain Zoo with exotic birds, Welsh highland railway, mines, museums and art galleries – this location has it all!

After reading other reviews i was a little apprehensive of being able to pull the caravan back up the slope from the touring pitches and there was no problem what so ever,it is a lovely clean site and a great location for what we wanted to do, howevera little remote, it was february so we didn't walk to the local pub but come the summer it would be lovely , as the food was really good. if i was to pick faults it would be that the the site was exceptionally clean and tidy except there was a pile of dried leaves under the dish washing basins which when you think it's Februry so must have been there since late last year bugged me every time and it was a little neglected compared to everywhere else. i would have liked a couple of water pipes on the touring pitch, and free Wi Fi. can't understand why it's not a given with today's technology but already reccomended the site 6 times on FB

PLAS FARM CARAVAN PARK IS SET IN A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY LOCATION IDEALLY POSITIONED FOR THE MANY ATTRACTIONS NORTH WALES HAS TO OFFER. THE SITE IS SET OUT SO NEATLY AND TIDY IT MAKES IT A PLEASURE TO RETURN EVERY TIME WE BOOK A NEW DATE IN OUR DIARY. I CANT RECOMMEND THIS TOURING CAMP SITE ENOUGH. YOU WILL FIND IT SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND ALL THE PITCHES ARE CLEARLY SEPARATED WITH PLENTY OF SPACE TO GET AROUND YOUR CARAVAN ONCE YOU HAVE PITCHED UP. THE STAFF ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL AND POLITE AND IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE THERE WILL BE THERE FOR SUPPORT SHOULD YOU REQUIRE IT.

Mr & Mrs C Rowland - Stayed with family, Feb 2019

Great, neat, quiet place to stay! Washing facilities good and clean. Fantastic views. Great location. There is a pub in walking distance but not great with kids as its along country roads... apart from that all good.

"Great stay here"

Miss N Sumner - Stayed with family, Feb 2019

Really lovely park. Only fault (and it's small) that one of the toilet blocks has no heating. Gorgeous park, friendly staff, lovely views.....we really relaxed here. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
