"Nice location with new facilities."

Nice isolated location with new washrooms, but strange that the main glass doors to both ladies and gents are see through, meaning everyone can see you when using them!

The site is fairly even for the most part so quite comfortable, and it's beautiful! The tree-lined avenue as you enter sets the tone for the whole stay, and the facilities are the best quality I've come across on any camp site anywhere in Europe. Nicely situated to explore the Cotswolds, I chose it for its proximity to Bourton-on-the-Water, which I used to visit as a child as, forty years ago, my uncle was the landlord at the Coach and Horses pub (which now includes an Indian restaurant serving the best Indian food I've ever tasted - and I used to live in India!). Shower/toilet blocks are modern and super clean. Great views of the stars at night as it's not surrounded by blindingly bright security lights, and pleasingly quiet at night for a great night's sleep. I chose it as a convenient stop point passing through from Peterborough to Exmoor, but I found a place I will definitely be returning to. I'm not given to making effusive, gushing reviews, but I really can't recommend this site highly enough. Loved it.

"relaxed atmosphere mid week, but could do with a bit of a deeper clean"

Folly Farm is a nice camping/ caravanning park with a relaxed atmosphere, popular with locals and DofEers, it isnt far from Bourton on the water, and we found a lovely pub called The Lamb Inn, in Great Rissington, which we were really impressed with. It is also a 20 min walk from The Plough in Cold Aston, which has a really nice feel to it. We went mid week and it was peaceful and we were very lucky with the weather, the only downside we found was that the new toilet/shower block, whilst tidy and clean, could do with more of a scrub and there was issues with the shower tray draining (it took until after i had got dried and changed to drain away). The washing up area could do with an update as it is at the back of the old toilet block, and is showing its age, but it appears that the new toilet block may be in the process of adding this as looks like there is some work being done on the end room. It does get a lot busier/louder at the weekends when it is more popular, so if we are to visit again we will bear this in mind and most likely be booking a mid week break.

"2 night stay"

Lovely and quiet (some road noise) little site. Although scool holidays are over. To be aware of.... At a guess the new shower and toilet facilities weren’t designed by someone who would actually use them! Most annoyingly, you have to press the shower valve button... Lovely and quiet (some road noise) little site. Although scool holidays are over. To be aware of.... At a guess the new shower and toilet facilities weren’t designed by someone who would actually use them! Most annoyingly, you have to press the shower valve button every 5 seconds (5!) to keep shower flowing then the water runs hot and cold! Poor drying/dressing space. Not enough wall hooks etc . So many other sites get these things right! Why they didn’t include new dish washing up facilities in the new block I do not know as the (very) old facilities provided are fairly disgusting. Motorhome owners will find there is nowhere to drain down grey water and the fresh water tap isn’t easily accessible with your hose. Again...not planned out well. Still, this is a lovely little site that just needs to up its game to be as efficient as it is in collecting customers money.

Campsite split into separate fields so didn't feel too crowded. Definitely recommend. Nice and quiet and beautiful sunsets!

Easy to find. Staff are nice and the toilets and showers are good though not many but it was ok as site was not full. Little honest shop is great.
