"Well prepared site."

Mr R Zablocki - Stayed with family, May 2021

Large pitches and well laid out. Lots of good meat in the farm shop ready for the barbecue. They should offer some fruit and vegetables, so we wouldn't have to go to the supermarkets.

Thank you for your comments pleased you enjoyed your stay it's because we are so close to the supermarkets and only having very limited space we do not stock fruit and veg. Best regards, Clare.

Check in was very easy and everything was really clean, we received a lovely welcome pack especially the yummy cakes on arrival. The Lodge was fab, had everything we needed like home from home, the only downside was the matress was really uncomfortable and needs replacing in the double bedroom as you could feel every spring. We were also right next to the childrens play area, our children absolutely loved this and spent every minute making lots of friends there. They also tried the pool which was nice, its a small pool and at the moment had covid number restrictions of 6 people so did get abit difficult to find when you could go as we had amazing weather so everyone wanted to use it but we managed to use it on the only cloudy day as was less busy. The shop and take away were an added bonus and we did use once or twice. It was full while we were there and the only thing that was a little disappointing was having paid for a lodge, we didnt expect campers and caravans being a stones throw as the pictures show a lovely view with a hedge row but then a day after arrival it was all full in front with caravans and tents i think if you're paying quite a lot for a lodge then thats the view advertised its a little surprising when it isnt. The site itself is lovely and very near lots of lovely beaches and pubs ( highly recommend the Sandygate Inn & The Bell inn and The Ness) would definitely recommend it for a base to see the beautiful Devon area.

"Another great visit"

M Wardle - Stayed with partner, May 2021

Well worth visiting / staying here. Although it is a family site - the noise is minimal. Great food facilities on site. The shop has all essentials. Nearby villages / towns are worth the walk / ride to.

"Quality campsite"

Mr G Train - Stayed with family, May 2021

Twelve Oaks is a quality campsite that we have used for over 20 years now. A family run business, the campsite has seen many improvements year on year and these continue showing a commitment to its customers that I seldom see elsewhere. The only very minor gripe I had... Twelve Oaks is a quality campsite that we have used for over 20 years now. A family run business, the campsite has seen many improvements year on year and these continue showing a commitment to its customers that I seldom see elsewhere. The only very minor gripe I had was on the booking, I had asked for two pitches next to each other as our family were staying in separate tents and although we were on pitches numbered one after each other, there physically were on different terraces. That said, the issue was very quickly resolved to our satisfaction on arrival so had no bearing on the quality of our stay
