Broadleigh Farm Park

50 Reviews

Park Description

We welcome touring caravans and motorhomes, and most pitches provide a 16amp Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches. The site is broadly split into two large fields, with traditional Devon hedgerows forming further breaks on these fields. The service block is centrally located, with easy access for all. We are able to provide pitches for both small and large tents, with or without Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches.

There are also cold water taps on site close to the pitches. Broadleigh Farm has two wash rooms specifically designed for people with limited mobility. The access to these rooms is flat and level, and the washrooms have a toilet, shower and sink to use.

Opening Dates

The park is open annually from mid March until the end of October

Booking Arrangements

Bookings can now be made online. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking, with balance payable 4 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Roger is really friendly and helpful and all staff are laid back giving the whole place a chilled out and peaceful atmosphere. The other campsite users are all friendly too. It was raining while we were there but that didn’t worry us. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area of Torbay. There are also wonderful coastal walks. The village of Stoke Gabriel is just down the road and well worth a visit. It’s a lovely walk from the campsite (around 4 miles round trip) and it’s such a pretty village. Excellent for crabbing. A must see is the 1000 year old yew tree in the church yard. Overall this is probably the best campsite I have visited for many many reasons. I personally am not a fan of gravel, all service pitches where you have to line your caravan up by the post or risk a warden knocking on your door at 7.30am to tell you off. Broadleigh is really chilled and friendly and we loved it there.

"Spacious, peaceful site"

We chose this site for it's quiet location, proximity to friends, and because it was open in October. As the facilities were shut we can't comment, although, if I'm being picky, the chemical toilet waste disposal WC did need a clean (or a brush, so I could do it). We... We liked the all-grass site, with views, and the lady who answered the phone was friendly & helpful. We'd definitely come back, albeit out of season as I imagine it gets quite full in season.

Arrived to find all facilities closed due to COVID, but not pre-notified, especially as booked for 5 nights which is a long time on own facilities, and curt notice on site saying no refunds. Had pre-booked pitch but arrived to find caravan on pitch. Owner came out and said assumed we'd go on a different pitch we didn't want, then reluctantly said he'd move the caravan. Pitch was c30 metres from hook up point, even though website says 15m cable required. Had to set up off pitch, even though we have a 25m cable, and ended up staring at hedge. Water tap on this CL field not working. Stayed one night then moved down road to Ramslade, at extra cost. Will be bringing this site to CAMCs attention, as not good enough to represent the Club
