Broadleigh Farm Park

104 Reviews

Park Description

We welcome touring caravans and motorhomes, and most pitches provide a 16amp Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches. The site is broadly split into two large fields, with traditional Devon hedgerows forming further breaks on these fields. The service block is centrally located, with easy access for all. We are able to provide pitches for both small and large tents, with or without Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches.

There are also cold water taps on site close to the pitches. Broadleigh Farm has two wash rooms specifically designed for people with limited mobility. The access to these rooms is flat and level, and the washrooms have a toilet, shower and sink to use.

Opening Dates

The park is open annually from mid March until the end of October

"Quietest site ever & a great stop over"

We were looking for value for money (unserviced hard standing or grass) for our camper van. We also wanted beautiful surroundings, nice walks & a shop in case we needed it. We were really impressed with how deeply peaceful it was (late September). Not a sound!! Just bird song! There are lovely hills & walks. We could park where we liked although it is hilly so we needed a flat plot. We made the mistake of parking at the bottom of the field which was very cold at night. A rookie mistake on my part! We liked the layout of the site, the toilets & showers & separate disabled shower & toilet. There wasn't much in the shop which was a disappointment & it was a longish walk to the village partly accessed along the busy road. There is a narrow frightening road through Aish to this site please avoid it & go the shorter wider route!

The site was very quiet and nicely situated with views of surrounding hills. The site itself, however, is very sloping and it was difficult to get the caravan level. Accessibility to the site could be difficult due to the extremely narrow lanes with passing places. Whilst there the bus we were on got stuck alongside a car and towed caravan, both the bus and caravan being damaged trying to pass each other. Extreme care and caution needs to be taken.

"Pre booked pitch"

Mrs C Storey - Stayed with partner, Sep 2021

A nice site down a narrow lane with passing places. We were sent to our pre booked level pitch only to find it already occupied! We were sent to our pre booked level pitch only to find it already occupied! The staff member was very apologetic and gave us a different pitch which unfortunately was on a difficult slope. The pitches are close together and through the thin hedge we could hear everything the occupants behind us were saying! An occupational hazard of caravanning is other people’s noisy dogs but we were often woken early by barking dogs behind us.

"Great 4 days"

Mr J Fletcher - Stayed with partner, Sep 2021

We wanted a site where we could set up our motor home and not spend everyday driving around. This was a great site - great walk to Stoke Gabriel and the buses meant we could get to Totnes easily enough to visit the town and do Round Robin Tour of Dartmouth etc. Quiet...
