Broadleigh Farm Park

114 Reviews

Park Description

We welcome touring caravans and motorhomes, and most pitches provide a 16amp Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches. The site is broadly split into two large fields, with traditional Devon hedgerows forming further breaks on these fields. The service block is centrally located, with easy access for all. We are able to provide pitches for both small and large tents, with or without Electric Hook-up. All are grass pitches.

There are also cold water taps on site close to the pitches. Broadleigh Farm has two wash rooms specifically designed for people with limited mobility. The access to these rooms is flat and level, and the washrooms have a toilet, shower and sink to use.

Opening Dates

The park is open annually from mid March until the end of October

"A lovely site in Devon - so peaceful and restful"

The facilities were always spotless and were perfectly adequate for our needs. The owner is so friendly and helpful and lives on site so is always accessible in an emergency. The site is very open with lots of clear grass spaces so we didn't feel at all crammed in as we have felt on other sites. The site itself has quite a few sloping pitches and so we needed to be especially careful about levelling up the caravan. But once we had the caravan level all was good. Looking forward to returning next year

Arrived late but found pitch easily enough, hoping to catch up with the site manager/owner in the morning. However we never saw a soul and the site office remained firmly shut for the duration of our stay. In spite of this we enjoyed our time there and would go again. Showers and toilets cleaned daily and in good repair.

Great weekend, camped for 2 nights. Fantastic site so long as you don't meet someone in the lanes when towing.

There are beautiful views from the park but the approach roads are not for caravans or big motor homes , we have a large new car and caravan , the caravan was touching the hedge on both sides as we neared the park which really put us off, The main Stoke road is twisty and fairly narrow in places and you meet lorries that deliver to the farm and other places, tractors and locals who use the road as a rat run even with out the caravan on back it is scary, there are passing places on Stoke Road but then you have to turn off onto a lane we couldn't believe we had to take the caravan on very few passing places and caravan touched hedge both sides we won't be going back, however the showers were large and a nice dressing area that didn't get wet, the views were lovely, however not many people followed the dogs on lead rule and Lurcher which was never on a lead in the two weeks we were there and is still there living with new age travellers in the top field came after my dogs at least 3 times, another family arrived with a black Lab that was never on a lead either a collie was never on a lead and the owners collies although constantly chained outside their house during the day were allowed to roam free which I think the poor dogs needed at night on their walk around the site. The shop didn't open only for a short time in the morning and evening and that was the only way to get tokens for the washer or dryer which were £4 each and the washing machines were dirty and not great didn't use the dryers. The site was clean and neat, showers and toilets clean and adequate but badly needed revamping but certainly usable no problems there except hot water went wrong for a few days and we had to use the showers in the rally field but at least they had a back up and they were very clean and big too. If it wasn't for the approach roads I would return but think it would be much better for people with tents or very small motor homes both our neighbours in average size motorhomes said never again

"Jan Diamond"

Ms J Diamond - Stayed with family, Sep 2018

We stayed outside of school holidays and the campsite was quiet as we would wish, I probably would not choose to visit during school holidays.

"Duke of Edinburgh Practice"

Mr J Brett - Stayed with friends, Sep 2018

I have taken 3 small groups of D of E students to Broadleigh since June and each visit has been very successful. The site has been very supportive. We have enjoyed the space on site allowing the students a bit of down time to play a game without upsetting anyone... I have taken 3 small groups of D of E students to Broadleigh since June and each visit has been very successful. The site has been very supportive. We have enjoyed the space on site allowing the students a bit of down time to play a game without upsetting anyone else. All in all a very good place for the students to have their first camping experience.
