"Beautiful location, with downsides"

The things the site lacked were, 1)Suitable places to fill Camper vans with fresh water. 2)the facility to remove grey waste for camper vans was very poor. 3) The site is pricey and yet you have to pay extra for showers and washing up facilities when it is open However... "Lovely location on the beach but staff could have been more helpful"

It was quiet but filling up with water/ disposing of grey waste would be difficult if it was busy. We had to wait whilst they tarmacced the roads to be able to get to grey waste disposal- ok but when I asked if we could move our MH from the terraces and leave it somewhere else until 2.30 the answer was no - leave it on the public car park. But your site was probably 15% full - not exactly helpful considering we couldn't even get to waste disposal.

"Great location no car needed"

Good for families looking for beaching and surfing. Selection of bars cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Cracking crab restaurant on site not the cheapest but convenient. Our stay was during Covid Partial restraints so couldn’t use showers/toilets and restaurant closed. We used the terraces pitch 1 which was next to the footpath. Could do with some ground filling next to tarmac path as struggled to get van out without scrapping underside.

From motorhome to surf in less than one minute! What more could you ask for? A great site with large pitches and very clean facilities. Nice bars and restaurants nearby.

"Excellent location"

Excellent location with a fabulous view. All the pitches are grass ( many on a slope) which become very difficult to get on and off in wet weather, this could easily be rectified by the addition of plastic paving grids. All the pitches are grass ( many on a slope) which become very difficult to get on and off in wet weather, this could easily be rectified by the addition of plastic paving grids. The pitches are however a very good size and well spread. The toilet and shower facilities are modern and very clean, you do have to pay extra for your shower though which I think is a bit off as this site is probably one of the most expensive in the area. The beach is beautiful with easy access and there are lifeguards on duty until 6 pm. There are plenty of good pubs, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance and a number of little shops. The area is excellent for walking too. Al in all a great place to stay.
