It was like you were on a different planet, with all the maddness going on. Neither of us wanted to leave and have enquired about a seasonal pitch. Well worth the money.

It's situated in a lovely quiet countryside location which suited us just fine. The shower/toilet facilities were excellent, modern and spotlessly clean. The reception area included a small shop which had vital caravanning supplies, many Kent visitors guides, and during the season has fresh milk and bread, but we were there early March before the holiday season had started. We liked the friendly and very helpful staff who were available whenever we needed them. The location at Kingsthorpe near Ashford is handy for a stopover for the Euro Tunnel and Channel Ferries, and ideal for visiting the Kent coastal resorts and other places of interest, such as Canterbury and many National Trust and English Heritage properties. I would definitely recommend Broadhembury for anyone visiting Kent or the continent, and we would definitely book this site again. Thank you Broadhembury for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

"Self isolation"

Anonymous - Stayed Mar 2020

Spent a few days here while self isolating during the Covid 19 crisis. The park was very quiet as it was mid March. Only used my own facilities so cannot comment on the park’s. Staff taking the virus seriously. Enjoyed my stay.

The warden was very friendly and helpful and I will certainly go back next year for Godinton.

So plots had to change, and the hardstanding made a massive difference. The kids loved the games room! They watch TV on the sofas, played pool, table tennis and air hockey. Fantastic idea to have this, especially as the storm had set in! The washrooms....Wow! Heated floors, getting ready in the shower was such a pleasure. I think 5 showers, all had wet/dry/seated area. plus about 6 toilets and 2 cubicles with toilet and wash basin cubicles. Again, great idea. Also has baby facilities, wheelchair rooms and a bath! The lady cleaning was very lovely and friendly and did an amazing job! The park was really good, at times of dry weather, and the kids enjoyed riding thier bikes around the one way road around the park. Shop has lots of the useful items. Reception and staff were so very friendly and warden did everything to help, lovely staff! There is a locked gate in/out. No chance of kids running out, or the unwanted coming in. Great security! I've not been towing for long, so I get worried about access, although it's a village road, there is plenty of room, it does cut to 1 lane, but this is very wide, and straight, and for only about the length of 2 outfits, so it is not hard to tackle. I would definitely come back. I do only live 1.4 miles away, and just wanted a few nights away with the kids, but I will defiainty come back. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

"A good find."

We had a very enjoyable stay and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We stayed on the adults only section so cannot comment on family area but if it's anything like the adults area it will be just as good. The facilities were clean warm and a pleasure to use... We stayed on the adults only section so cannot comment on family area but if it's anything like the adults area it will be just as good. The facilities were clean warm and a pleasure to use and the disabled washing/toilet facilities well equipped. Very quiet site with plenty of birdsong and even the wet weather didn't dampen our time there (torrential rain).

"January stay, very good washrooms"

After 50 yrs of caravanning/motorhome all over Europe I rate the washroom of this site in the top 5 (others being in Germany or Caravan Club ones) Miserable weather but a pleasure to use facilities. Area I stayed in was 'adult only' which is a good idea for those of us older ones who don't want noise . The site is very quiet at night with low but adequate level of lighting i.e. no light pollution to disturb one. Supermarket/pub within 1 mile. Will be reurning for another stay in 2 weeks. If a site is enjoyable in January it should be brilliant in summer!!
