"Autumn Retreat"

Mrs G Morrison - Stayed with family, Oct 2020

A lovely holiday park in a beautiful location with excellent facilities and friendly staff. I cannot comment on the parks facilities because everything was closed due to the outbreak but look forward to returning once everything is fully open.

"Peaceful, relaxing weekend"

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom lodges which was immaculately clean and well equipped. Beautiful peaceful setting which was exactly what we needed.

"Excellent campsite"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, Oct 2020

Stayed here for 5 nights. Very good location for lots of walks and central. Unable to comment on leisure facilities and these were closed due to Covid restrictions and we used our own washing/toilet facilities in the caravan. Would definitely return to this campsite.

Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant & entertainment areas were closed so could not rate them. However I was very satisfied with the caravan as it was very clean and well maintained. The caravan park is in an ideal area for surrounding places of interest & the kids loved the walk through the woods to Killiecrankie. The only negatives & disappointments were that the enchanted forest was closed due to Covid & the WI-FI connections (for the kids) but I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Faskally Caravan Park in a 3 bedroom Chalet. It was so cosy, warm, and home from home. The chalet was spacious, the kitchen was open plan with the lounge and was well equipped with all the necessities you would need including a dishwasher. The 3 bedroomed chalet had a family bathroom, plus an en suite shower room. There was your own allocated space for parking, and a wrap around decking with outdoor table and chairs. The staff were welcoming and friendly and sorted out a few minor issues for us within hours of reporting them. We do believe that when you stay in any accommodation and you come across any problems or issues that you report them immediately to the proprietors/Owners in order for them to have a chance to sort them out for you instead of reporting the issues straight to social media. We were extremely pleased that these were attended to and sorted out for us very quickly. The views at this park are spectacular, the autumn leaves in October transform the landscapes into a mass of colour of browns and gold spender and it’s situation within forests, lochs, and mountains, are breathtaking. We absolutely loved our time here, and have already booked for the same time next year.

"Covid times"

On arrival I had to find my own way around as the shop and reception were both locked and my welcome was a map in the window with my bay circled and marked with my name. The site is large and well managed and the location is great. Everything I needed was available and it was a treat to have toilets in these Covid times! They were clean and well maintained but no showers available due to restrictions. Broad band and phone signal were very hit and miss (with much more miss) so I opted for the Highland WiFi at £4:95 for twenty four hours. I was disappointed with this as it dropped out often and it actually made a difference where I sat in my motorhome as to whether I got a signal or not. My TV satellite system couldn’t find a signal so, as a solo traveller, thank goodness I had plenty of books for entertainment. The location of the site is excellent - just not best placed for those needing good signals.

We stayed at Faskally in Oct 2020, with autumn colours displaying all their glory. This is a beautifully sited park, with gorgeous walks beside rivers and woodland, with Pitlochry just a couple of miles away, perfect. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, many amenities were closed, however, it was still possible to enjoy the peaceful location and the great outdoors and we did. The Caravan holiday home was clean and in good condition throughout and the park well maintained. The only slight negative is that the WiFi is slow with a poor connection, mostly unusable. Mobile reception was good, however. A well-recommended caravan site, will definitely be returning
