We stayed at Faskally Caravan Park in a 3 bedroom Chalet. It was so cosy, warm, and home from home. The chalet was spacious, the kitchen was open plan with the lounge and was well equipped with all the necessities you would need including a dishwasher. The 3 bedroomed chalet had a family bathroom, plus an en suite shower room. There was your own allocated space for parking, and a wrap around decking with outdoor table and chairs. The staff were welcoming and friendly and sorted out a few minor issues for us within hours of reporting them. We do believe that when you stay in any accommodation and you come across any problems or issues that you report them immediately to the proprietors/Owners in order for them to have a chance to sort them out for you instead of reporting the issues straight to social media. We were extremely pleased that these were attended to and sorted out for us very quickly. The views at this park are spectacular, the autumn leaves in October transform the landscapes into a mass of colour of browns and gold spender and it’s situation within forests, lochs, and mountains, are breathtaking. We absolutely loved our time here, and have already booked for the same time next year.

"Covid times"

On arrival I had to find my own way around as the shop and reception were both locked and my welcome was a map in the window with my bay circled and marked with my name. The site is large and well managed and the location is great. Everything I needed was available and it was a treat to have toilets in these Covid times! They were clean and well maintained but no showers available due to restrictions. Broad band and phone signal were very hit and miss (with much more miss) so I opted for the Highland WiFi at £4:95 for twenty four hours. I was disappointed with this as it dropped out often and it actually made a difference where I sat in my motorhome as to whether I got a signal or not. My TV satellite system couldn’t find a signal so, as a solo traveller, thank goodness I had plenty of books for entertainment. The location of the site is excellent - just not best placed for those needing good signals.

We stayed at Faskally in Oct 2020, with autumn colours displaying all their glory. This is a beautifully sited park, with gorgeous walks beside rivers and woodland, with Pitlochry just a couple of miles away, perfect. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, many amenities were closed, however, it was still possible to enjoy the peaceful location and the great outdoors and we did. The Caravan holiday home was clean and in good condition throughout and the park well maintained. The only slight negative is that the WiFi is slow with a poor connection, mostly unusable. Mobile reception was good, however. A well-recommended caravan site, will definitely be returning

"Well located in Perthshire"

A very well sited camping site close to the A9 and easy to find and access from the North South Trunk road. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we were unable to sample the site facilities, such as the bar and restaurant / café. Obviously the site caters very adequately to families and children's needs. It was half term and the park was noisy and busy due to many mostly out of control 'feral' children long into the evening even after dark. Not a great negative to us, but people should be aware of this situation. That said, the play park looked good from our viewpoint, but as we now travel without wee ones, there was no one to give direct assessment. Major plus for outdoor types is the plethora of wonderful river and woodland walks and Pitlochry within walking distance along a good pavement from site.

"Pitches"

Conners - Stayed with partner, Oct 2020

The only gripe we have is the grass pitches could be better,ie, slabs alongside pitch accessing the road as can get quite muddy after all the vans parking there throughout a season, especially when wet. An extra chemical waste somewhere nearer the touring pitches would... An extra chemical waste somewhere nearer the touring pitches would be a good thing.

"Facilities and access"

Anonymous - Stayed with family, Oct 2020

I feel that there could possibly be another chemical waste point on the site as there is quite a distance to go to empty caravan cassette toilet. As my mobility is not 100%, I love ti go down to the river with my dogs but the access to the river is not good. A... I feel that there could possibly be another chemical waste point on the site as there is quite a distance to go to empty caravan cassette toilet. As my mobility is not 100%, I love ti go down to the river with my dogs but the access to the river is not good. A railed path down to the river would make it so much easier to access the river from the site.
