"Waste disposal"

Mr J Campbell - Stayed Aug 2018

I was away up beside the seasonal tourers near the tent area and the chemical toilet place was away down behind reception. It’s a long walk to empty your toilet. Surely they could put a facility at each toilet block.

Cons - Challenged by staff member on second day as someone else arriving had been allocated the same pitch number as us. Traffic noise from adjacent road.

Site and facilities well maintained and always clean. Kids love the pool and playpark. The scenery is beautiful especially down by the river. Meals and drinks in restaurant are good value and a welcome change to camp cooking every night. The only improvement I would suggest is for staff to clean toilet/shower blocks later in the afternoon rather than at peak morning times. Or provide mop and bucket for us to use, like other very clean sites have.

My husband, our dog and I spent two nights at the park and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a lovely Park and the location is really good. Our dog just loved to sit outside (on the lead) and watch the kids playing and everybody passing, people were so friendly. The toilets/showers are kept spotless and there is plenty of room in the showers, we have been to parks where there is hardly any room even to wash yourself. We had a lovely walk along the river to Pitlochry and at night walking round the park with the dog was great, the park has such a good atmosphere. The restaurant/pub again everybody was so friendly. We will definetly come back again.
