The site and washroom were spotless, large hot showers but only on for 10 seconds (I counted)you have to keep pressing it. The only downside was we woke in a lake! (pitch 19) obviously the campsite can’t do anything about the rain. Would stay again, definitely, just not pitch 19.

The site is very new and the access road was being improved it was a bit muddy with pot holes. The shower and toilet block was brand new and very clean but the drainage in the shower cubicles wasn't very good and I should imagine during busy periods the floor in the block will be permanently wet. The showers were adequate but the flow was pretty poor, perhaps as well. It's a well located site just a 10 - 15 minute walk into the centre of Aviemore. Although the site is adjacent to the A9 there was hardly any noise to speak of.

"Lovely Caravan Park"

Mrs S Ellis - Stayed with partner, May 2019

Lovely Park to stay for a few nights. We've returned 3 times over the past few months. We requested a specific pitch on our last visit which wasn't a problem. Great access to Aviemore town centre and the surrounding areas.

"Great stopover"

Mr R Jones - Stayed Jun 2019

Stayed at this lovely site on recent Lands' End to John O Groats cycle trip. Obviously a new facility everything was spotlessly clean with lovely showers. An easy walk into the town of Aviemore along traffic free footpaths. The overspill camping area was a little stony... Stayed at this lovely site on recent Lands' End to John O Groats cycle trip. Obviously a new facility everything was spotlessly clean with lovely showers. An easy walk into the town of Aviemore along traffic free footpaths. The overspill camping area was a little stony but with a little searching was able to find a comfortable pitch. Ideal location for LeJog cyclists.

"Noisy site"

Mr C Roberts - Stayed with partner, May 2019

We were looking for a site close to Aviemore, one of our favourite areas of the UK. Other sites are expensive and awkward about, for example, arriving late and are not as close to the village. Other sites are expensive and awkward about, for example, arriving late and are not as close to the village. Facilities and staff were pretty good although it is impossible to get dried properly following a shower. There was only one issue really and that was it’s proximity to the A9. It felt unpleasant to have trucks rumbling past in full view during the day and kept us awake at night. We were pitched as far away from the road as possible but it was still a problem. In future, I will probably stay at Rothiemurchus and pay the extra as facilities are as good but it’s much quieter.

"Oakwood"

Mr C Thain - Stayed with partner, May 2019

On first appearance this looks like a good site, but in reality it is clearly set up to make most money from available space, pitches are very close together, luckily site wasn't busy on our stay, showers are possibly the worst I have used, not enough run on the floor... On first appearance this looks like a good site, but in reality it is clearly set up to make most money from available space, pitches are very close together, luckily site wasn't busy on our stay, showers are possibly the worst I have used, not enough run on the floor to the drain, resulting in whole floor flooding when showers in use leaving nowhere dry to fully dry off & get dressed, never seen a warden the whole week, lots of broken glass on ground, washing up sinks in a very dirty state for over 2 days, sign on door says toilet closed for cleaning 11-13:00 but found out can happen anytime from 10:00-14:00, dogs running about off lead when clearly stated dogs must be on lead at all times, I had dogs with me & had mine on lead at all times, bins not emptied regularly.

"First time at Aviemore"

Ms L Rowlands - Stayed with partner, May 2019

We have never stayed at such a clean caravan site, excellent staff and facilities are spotless! Short walk along a safe path into the town! Good idea for the vending machines in reception for those needing a decent brew after a night in a tent. Would highly recommend...
