"Great base for exploring"

It is on a mani road and there was road noise but given its location that was to be expected. But it didn’t keep us awake or wake us up. What was frustrating was that a few nights, quite late on 11,12, 1 in the morning, there were groups of what sounded like youths in the playpark beside the campsite. They were shouting, cursing, laughing. Not sure what can be done about this but signs could at least be put up in the playpark that people in the campsite are trying to sleep and to have consideration. The site itself was clean, facilities good. There was a toastie machine and microwave in the laundry room which could have done with a good clean though. Disappointing that people thought it was acceptable to leave the items in that state. You can get the bus right outside the site into Belfast or to Carricfergus if you crossed to the other side of the road. The train station is also within walking distance.

"100% security but a pity about the double road “bumps” which were too close together"

Excellent for ferries & buses into Belfast

Would have been great for kids as excellent park adjoins the campsite, slightly intrusive noise if like us you’re looking for quiet. We chose the train option to get into the city, best station Whiteabbey 20 minute walk. Can bus as an alternative, too far out for Uber apparently though we did get a ride back from Uber from Titanic for only £11.00. Well positioned for further exploration of superb Coastal Causeway route.

"Lovely little campsite in a great location"

Mrs L Ayres - Stayed with family, Jun 2019

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s 10 mins drive to W5, Titanic Belfast etc and the okay ground right next to it is brilliant for young children. It’s 10 mins drive to W5, Titanic Belfast etc and the okay ground right next to it is brilliant for young children. The cafe next door is also lovely and he facilities were clean. My only issue is that you can’t get in, even just to park up until 2pm and you need to be out by midday (or 2pm at the very latest if you ask) so if you plan on filling your days and doing things the day you arrive and leave you can’t leacd your caravan there

"Campsite near Belfast"

Mrs J Sisson - Stayed with partner, May 2019

Nicely situated with bus route to Belfast. However the busy A2 ensured we had very little sleep as it was continuously busy all night

"Great location but very close to the street"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, May 2019

It's a double edge sword to be this close to the street. Great access but lots of traffic noise. They should build a sound barrier

"Access"

Mr G Wright - Stayed May 2019

There are ridiculous humps to pull a caravan over on entry. Even going slowly my clothes came off the wardrobe rail.
