"Showers"

Mr T Keyes - Stayed with partner, Aug 2019

Showers could do with extractor fans. And something to hang clothes on.

"Guide book"

We used "Guide du routard" which quotes your facility but it does not mention that you have to have a pre-booking. It only advises to have one during busy period. it would be good to know that you need the booking beforehand.

"Simple campsite but nice"

Simple campsite but it has all the necessary facilities. Big plus is the hedges between the pitches, gives a lot of privacy. It is next to a big playground (which attract youth to hang out and make a lot of noise on the weekend). It was easy to access but there was no staff or security (would be nice on the weekend to send the troublemakers on the playground away). We couldn’t book a camper + tent, it had to be 2 different spots which we didn’t like cause our spots weren’t next to each other. It was a pleasant stay tho and for a night or 2 I defiantly recommend this campsite. Bit overpriced for what you get but that seems to be normal in Ireland

"Noisy"

Mr D Rush - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

Spend one night could not bear to stay longer money must be invested to reduce road noise and move play ground to the other side of car park so so noisy

"A great facility"

Mr R Fee - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

Loughshore is a great facility. The Council should be encouraged to create similar facilities at other locations in the council area. The site is difficult to find on the Council web site. I could only find it via Google.

"Some Campers were double booked"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, Aug 2019

One couple was booked into a space occupied by someone else. There was no one on site to resolve the issue. Toilet seat in Gents toilet was broken, no one to report it to or to replace it

"Michael"

Mr M Tweed - Stayed with partner, Aug 2019

Small well kept clean and tidy site with good views over Belfast Lough. Some road noise. Had booked a pitch but on arrival there was another motorhome in it. Was told by attendant that we were moved to another pitch but were not told in advance.

"Great base"

Great base to explore surrounding areas and belfast. Great wee site toilets and showers clean. Only downside is that the road is very noisy day and night.
