Park Description

Ream Hills’ incredible location ensures guests get the best of both worlds as it is only 4 miles into the centre of Blackpool meaning visitors can easily switch between town and country. With fantastic attractions such as the Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park within striking distance as well as a great range of local eateries Ream Hills is ideal for any prospective holidaymaker.

The park offers a range of touring pitches that vary in size, but in general touring pitches are approx 100m2. Each pitch can comfortably accommodate a touring caravan or motor home along with your car and awning or gazebo. The tent field pitches are approx 75m2 and again can fit tents up to 25m2 along with your car and outdoor picnic furniture. Larger tents can be accommodated over 2 pitches.

Our luxury lakeside lodges with hot tubs offer a perfect break away; stay Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday or a full 7 days. Sleeping 4 / 6 or even 7 guests (including an infant) with a fully fitted kitchen, en-suite master bedroom and full family bathroom. Our Ladybank Lodge (Cedar Log 6) is top of our fleet and you will love this original true Canadian log cabin with its full height ceiling in the lounge and 3 en-suite bedrooms.

We stayed at Reams Holiday Park for 4 nights as we were making our way home from the Lake district. We were met by a lovely lady who explained where our pitch was and informed us of how to get into Blackpool and the surrounding areas. We found the site very clean and tidy as was the amenity block. We were slightly disappointed that the bar and restaurant were only open at the weekend but having said that it was early September and the season was coming to an end. All in all though a very pleasant stay.

"Family getaway"

Mrs T Outhwaite - Stayed with family, Aug 2021

Excellent large lodge with hot tub. The lodge and hot tub were both well maitained and clean. The location was perfect overlooking the lake. The weather was very bad for August but despite this we had a fab, fun filled weekend. Loved being so close to the wake pool

Keypad entry to barrier and spotlessly clean showers and toilets and a coin operated washing machine. The facility next door is the Blackpool Wake Park which also has a shop and cafe. Lots of wildlife in the area including wading birds and geese. There is some noise from the nearby motorway but not enough to spoil any enjoyment and disappeared completely after 2300 ish. We highly recommend this site and we will definitely return

We wanted somewhere unique to stay and the Geodome ticked all the boxes. Lovely idylic spot, no noise from other people. However accomodation and facilities weren't up to our cleanliness standard, especially with a toddler. The WiFi didn't always work. Our girl loved the park, we wish there were more things to do there with her for a couple evenings- they could maybe consider some evening entertainment of some sort, paddle boats and a soft play area for younger ones as there's just the Blackpool wake park for teens + on site. We went into the city a few times, 15 minute drive away. (SeaLife, The Beach, Waterpark & Arcades). We thought the Geodome was a little overpriced for what we paid for 4 nights, adding a hot tub like the lodges and an earlier check in & later checkout would of been a great additon and worth the full price. Overall we had a really lovely time at Reams and would possibly come back in a few years when our girl is older, or just as a couple. We even had conversations with others that they were enjoying their time too.

"4 nights"

R Ogg - Stayed with family, Aug 2021

top field toilets were awful. No tissue most of the time and never any soap despite the pandemic. Needed a good through clean - or preferably being replaced and a shower adding. Not enough showers for the amount of vans

The Pod was very clean, warm and pretty sound proof. The huge screen for watching films on was excellent. The park gave you a few essentials when you arrived, but I think for the price of the stay they could of added a few more essentials like_ Washing up liquid, Soap, and maybe a welcome pack - Tea/ Coffee, Milk, biscuits. This would have been a nice touch. It says there is a small shop on site - Very small shelf would be a better description. Site was very quiet and clean. Would definitely recommend.

The cost was on the high side especially for the late stay. Everywhere else we have ever been was £5 until 6pm. Yours was £15 for 4 hours more! The pitch only has electric so £52 felt a little steep for the one night and late stay. Had there been a clubhouse for food, drinks and entertainment then I think this would be acceptable. We would love to return for an easy get together that isn’t too far but it would be nice if there was a locals rate (especially off peak) I also enquired about taking a barbecue on booking and was told it was no problem providing it was a full standing barbecue. A warden then approached us and said no coal barbecues allowed so my friends set off home for a gas one after trying to hire one of yours but none available! The warden then came back 30 minutes later to say it was ok we could use ours. My friends were already in Bispham at this point and I was a little upset that it had broken up our one holiday night away 👎

"Toilets on electric grass field"

Mr J Betts - Stayed with family, Aug 2021

The only thing I would say that let's the site down are the toilet facilities on the electric grass field. There is only one toilet for the whole field and you have to use the shower facilities on the main hard standing area (5-10 min walk).
