Park Description

Ream Hills’ incredible location ensures guests get the best of both worlds as it is only 4 miles into the centre of Blackpool meaning visitors can easily switch between town and country. With fantastic attractions such as the Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park within striking distance as well as a great range of local eateries Ream Hills is ideal for any prospective holidaymaker.

The park offers a range of touring pitches that vary in size, but in general touring pitches are approx 100m2. Each pitch can comfortably accommodate a touring caravan or motor home along with your car and awning or gazebo. The tent field pitches are approx 75m2 and again can fit tents up to 25m2 along with your car and outdoor picnic furniture. Larger tents can be accommodated over 2 pitches.

Our luxury lakeside lodges with hot tubs offer a perfect break away; stay Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday or a full 7 days. Sleeping 4 / 6 or even 7 guests (including an infant) with a fully fitted kitchen, en-suite master bedroom and full family bathroom. Our Ladybank Lodge (Cedar Log 6) is top of our fleet and you will love this original true Canadian log cabin with its full height ceiling in the lounge and 3 en-suite bedrooms.

Have you ever slept in a helicopter - well now is your chance to do so. Our Lynx XZ676 helicopter is available for 1, 2 or even 3 nights stay on our touring park.

We spent 4 Christmas nights at Ream Hills after our original booking in Cheshire was cancelled last minute due to travel restrictions being misinterpreted by others. This in fact worked in our favour as we had a fantastic Christmas in a lodge and mad good use of the hot tub and walks around the lake. Since March was have face disappointment an a number of occasions as weekends away have been cancelled so it was a relief to find someone actually getting it right for once. The lodge was modern, clean and cosy complete with decorated tree. Already booked another stay in March 2021 which we are really looking forward to.

"2nd Lodge Stay at Ream Hills"

Our first occasion was June 2019 and we returned last week on the 2nd Nov prior to lockdown. It’s quiet and relaxing around the lake, not a holiday park with a clubhouse etc. It has a cafe/bar open March to October. We find it ideal for us, as we have my 90 year old grandma with us, who needs to stay in level accommodation so only has the 3 steps to do to enter the lodge. We’ve had days out in Lytham, St Anne’s, Grange Over Sands, Lancaster, Cartmel, with journeys from 15 mins to 70 mins depending on where you wish to go and the Blackpool attractions are just 10 mins away if you want to visit those. Lodge are immaculate and modern, all with their own hot tub. Can def recommend booking a table at the The Eagle in Weeton. We will def be back in 2021

Due toLancashire moving into Tier 3 of the COVID-19 restrictions, our holiday in the south was cancelled at short notice. We looked around for more local places to stay and Ream Hills met all our needs. Having made a quick phone call to friendly staff it was confirmed that We were able to stay so we booked the Lakeside Lodge 6. On arrival checked in safely with friendly and polite staff and proceeded to the lodge. The lodge was well appointed, clean and the hot tub was ready to go. Although the site is a bit out of the way, this did not matter to us as we felt close enough to Blackpool, St Anne’s etc yet far enough away to have the peace and quiet that was needed in this very difficult year.

We have stayed at Realm Hills for almost 3 years now and just finished our 6th visit. The park is quiet, clean, spacious and beautiful. The location is only 3-4 minutes from Blackpool so if you want liveliness then you don’t have far to go. The lodges are clean and modern. Our most recent visit was to the large lodge built in 2019, which is beautiful and finished to a very high standard. Each lodge has a hot tub which is extremely clean. We can not recommend Realm hills enough. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
