Mrs D Mustoe - Stayed with family, Oct 2018

We were a bit disapointed in the accomodation as it was only a 2 bedded unit, whereas before we stayed in a bedded unit. Having said that the unit was new, clean and well appointed. Would recommend staying here for the peace and quiet.

The handles for the bins on site could do with a good clean and the parking is a bit difficult as there is no space at the side of the Caravan for parking. An option on the furniture would be good as the fixed furniture is not as comfortable as high back furniture for people like myself with neck problems. Still, it offers good dog walking nearby and people can usually find a parking space in front of reception if the parking is difficult.

Chose to stay at Mowbreck as we were visiting family who live nearby, very good value for money and luxurious caravans. Staff were very accomodating and helpful. Is set in countryside and so is very peaceful, no club house or onsite entertainment, but that wasn't an issue as we know the area well and spent most of our time visiting family and friends.

We chose this site because it was dog friendly and ideally located to drive to local attractions like the pleasure beach and for walks along the front in Lytham. The park was easy to find using satellite navigation and although it doesn’t have a shop on site, it’s not too far to the local Aldi. The staff were lovely and helpful (even before arrival, calling to check how many beds needed making up) and our caravan was spotless and have everything we needed for our stay, plenty of kitchen utensils and plates etc. Linen is provided but you need to bring your own towels, which is states in the T&Cs. The site was lovely and quiet of a night so we had no trouble sleeping and we weren’t woken up by drunken people which seems to be the norm on the usual holiday camp sites. The children loved the local park and the dog loved the walks around the site and being able to come along on a liltrle holiday with us :). Overall I’d highly recommend the site and would come to stay again. Thanks to all the staff for being very knowledgable and helpful. Lisa and family.

Have stayed at Mowbreck Park twice now and enjoyed both stays with my husband and our dog. We love the peace and tranquillity of the park and the location is ideal as it is just off the motorway and not too far to drive into Blackpool or Lytham St.Anne's for all the local attractions should you wish to do so. If we could wish for anything it would be to have a small mini market on site and possibly a take away of some description to save having to get in the car and drive to the local shops or take away restaurants. If you're after a quiet, relaxing time then it's an ideal place, we like it so much we have already booked to return again!

"There is only one problem with Mowbreck and that is parking of cars."

I have written review on the form we fill in before we leave., This is an excellent site with very helpful and friendly staff. I would not under estimate their contribution towards the running of this site. The units are all very good and well maintained. The only problem I have encountered in the many years of going there (on average twice per year) is the parking of cars. On Elm Grove there few spaces to park and of course I understand the full time residents take priority. If I was thinking of a retirement home (which I am) this would be my only reservation. From a holiday point of view this site is perfect for holidaymakers who do not want the additional recreational facilities for small children, however, it is perfectly situated within a woodland environment yet easily accessible to the local village with supermarkets and to the M55 for Blackpool, St Annes, Fleetwood etc.,
