Has a lovely park, river runs through. Camp/caravan site is always clean. Wash area is really clean. Entertainment on certain weekends, which is great. We have also stayed in the Ensuite room above the bar. Room only, had coffee facilities, ensuite with towels, wardrobe & chest of drawers. Standard but really clean & comfortable. Very reasonable priced too. Definitely recommend Claylands. My brother has been with his grandchildren too after we recommend it. 5 Minutes in taxi into Garstang, many of pubs to visit. We will be back!!

It is situated in a nice area and is an ideal base for visiting lots of local attractions. I fished 3 of the on site ponds and they were well stocked and easily accessible. I have just one downside and that is the noise of the trains throughout the night, the goods trains especially stopped me from having a good nights sleep. The restaurant and bar was excellent. The surrounding countryside with the river Wyre running next to the park was excellent for family walks. All in all we had an enjoyable stay.

We searched for somewhere roughly an hour from home and found Clayland Park. It met all our criteria with nice surroundings a bar/restaurant and easy access to off site locations (Garstang, Blackpool) should we want to venture into the outside world. Large caravan pitches with EHU, water and drainage. We were based close to the facilities block which suited us very well. Other pitches are grass and hardstanding and are a little further away from those facilities, through the static area. It's not a great distance but might seem less convenient for those with young children or at 3am in the morning. However, this area is nicely laid out with some scenic views. There are 5 fishing ponds and everything looks well maintained. Some traffic noise and train noise but it didn't disturb us particularly and the grandchildren enjoyed seeing the trains as well as the ducks on the river and using the play area. There is a small shop, a bar that was very welcome with outside seating and nice views, we enjoyed our meals and only a short walk back to our caravans! There is a diary of entertainment throughout the year and we found staff to be very helpful and pleasant.
