We also offer En suite rooms or Luxurious Self Catering Holiday Cottages. The choice is yours, its a true family welcome waiting for you.... We also have on the park four well stocked Fishing Ponds and they are oasis for wildlife and fisherman alike. Our Touring Pitches are all hard standing, most are fully serviced pitches. Adjoining the main touring area is our Tent Field, half of the pitches have access to electric hook up points. By aiming to make all our visitors comfortable, we have 24 hours, FREE shower and toilet block with disabled access and baby change area and separate laundry and washing up area. A safe, Adventure Playground is ideal for children as an alternative to our play field. For those of our visitors who want to be pampered that little bit we offer our En suite rooms. Modernised to a very high standard, please note breakfast is an optional extra. The rooms are accessed via a spiral staircase and located above the bar & restaurant where it can sometimes be noisy. I stayed in an en suite room above the restaurant, which I found to be very clean and tidy, and reasonably priced. It was nice and peaceful to return to after being with the family and doing activities all day. Was only a 5 minute walk to where the caravan was situated, and each time I walked there, I was always greeted by other people staying in their caravans. The site isn't too big, so it's great for children to wonder around safely. There is a small park with a stream at the side of it. The stream is fenced off for safety. There are also two small well kept fishing lakes. The park is safe and well preserved. Although I didn't use the shower block, I saw that it was very clean and tidy. Staff on site were helpful and friendly. Nice food in the restaurant and reasonably priced. Lovely to sit there whilst watching your children play. Everything is Covid friendly at the moment, hand sanitisers etc on all entrances. Site also has pitches for those who like camping, like the caravans all hooked up to electricity etc. Due to Covid, the usual Halloween activates were cancelled. However, the site introduced Covid safe activities instead. I shall be returning again next Spring.

This was our first visit to Claylands park, we were met by very friendly and helpful staff and given the keys to our accomodation Riverview cottage. The cottage is very well laid out and we were pleasantly surprised by the provision of food and drink including tea, coffee, milk a bottle of wine and breakfast cereals etc. The site is well planned out and very attractive and the four fishing lakes are excellent. Even with the covid restrictions we had a great time enjoying walks around the site along the river, the children enjoyed seeing the wildlife and farm animals. We had takeaway from the Stepping stones restaurant which was good value and very nice food. A great experience , the staff are great, we will definately return in the future, thanks!
Ah so glad you enjoyed staying in the cottage, we look forawrd to seeing you again in the future

Great place, toilet and showers very clean. My only disappointment was that we couldn't go over the bridge for a walk. It was closed due to repairs. Hopefully it will be open next time we visit.
Thank you for taking the time to review our site, we do hope it wont be long before the bridge is repaired as it is a lovely walk but glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you again soon
