Park Description

Shays Farm is set in a peaceful rural location in a valley away from the farmhouse.

The caravan camping site is privately owned family run business. The family have lived on the farm for over 100 years, previously farming the land until 2007 when starting a small campsite which has grown in size and popularity over the last 7 years.

Shays Farm caravan camping site welcomes families, couples and individuals in motorhomes, caravans, trailer tents and tents. The campsite is set in natural surroundings for guests to enjoy the picturesque woodlands and wildlife.

Shays Farm is on the outskirts of LittleBudworth village and is an excellent location for nearby Oulton Park, Delamere Forest, the historical city of Chester and Beeston Castle. We are in driving distance to North Wales as well as close proximity to the motorway linking to Manchester and Liverpool.

"Lovely, peaceful site"

Mrs M Turner - Stayed with partner, Mar 2020

The site is in a lovely location, very peaceful. Really clean site, toilet facilities were spotless. Husband used the fishing pond and managed to catch a couple of fish so he was happy with that. Husband used the fishing pond and managed to catch a couple of fish so he was happy with that. We walked through the fields to the pub which is about five minutes walk. Staff at the site were friendly and helpful. We had to hire a TV aerial cable which was 50p per night, well worth the cost. We stayed on later on the Sunday afternoon for any extra £5 again worth the cost. All in all we had a lovely quiet weekend and would definitely go again.

A relatively small, but very well maintained site, in a sheltered location. Excellent shower/toilet and waste disposal facilities.
