Windfarm Park

Skegness, Lincolnshire

Park Description

In a rural location, Windfarm Park offers grass pitches with or without electrical hook ups for caravans, camper vans & large tents.

Drinking water points are situated throughout the Park. There is a small playground for children. We have a large modern heated shower block

with free hot showers. Additionally there are disabled/family toilets & showers with baby changing facilities & an under cover food preparation & washing up area with laundry sinks. There are also sockets for hair driers. A chemical disposal point is situated next to the waste and recycling bins. Excellent fishing is available (free for children) in the onsite lake. Bring your bikes – we are at the foot of the Wolds and it is so flat that you can cycle all day! There are many quiet back lanes to explore. Don’t forget your binoculars as sometimes the loudest noise here comes from the birds. Neighbouring farmers have provided areas of wetland habitat to encourage wading birds and wildfowl. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs many educational events during the summer, many aimed at children. They have a visitor centre at Gibraltar Point, just south of Skegness and have other nearby reserves at Snipe Dales and Freiston Foreshore. Quiet beaches (sometimes deserted) can be found 10 minutes south of Skegness at Gibraltar Point or further up the coast beyond Ingoldmells. The nearest pub is the Old Chequers Inn at Croft about 1.9 miles away.

We welcome well behaved pets. www.windfarmpark.co.uk

We went to celebrate my partners birthday and her new job and we had the best time. We camped down by the lake and even though the wind was crazy, it didn't dampen our spirits. The owner gave us advice on how to combat the wind and assured us if we needed anything, that he would be happy to help. Lovely place, clean facilities, beautiful views and helpful staff. All in all a pleasant stay! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay

"Fab site"

Miss G Loton - Stayed with partner, Aug 2019

Could not fault this site. Where else has its own wind farm and solar park as well as a lake and great views. My partner was particularly impressed being interested in renewable energy. Lovely grassed pitches with good spacing between them. Loved it!

This campsite is the best I’ve ever stayed in while in a tent, wonderful surroundings, brilliant staff and immaculate pitches. It was perfect in every way and we will be returning with our caravan very soon. Shower block is ultra modern with pot washing facilities and also a freezer to refreeze your ice packs, and on top of all that it was very good value for money.

We recently stayed, this would be our third year running,as a family of 6 which includes a 5 and a 1 year old. We love the place, the owners are friendly a really, family friendly site, its clean, pitch size is very good, toilet and shower block is well maintained and cleaned regularly. There is a noise cut off at 10.30pm which is nice especially with small children. The views are amazing. There are local shops for everyday items about 5 mins away and skegness is about 15 mins away.
