This park is ideal if you have a car but being in a motor home it’s too far and too dangerous to walk to other areas outside of the camp site, it’s wonderful if you fish and I would definitely recommend to friends. I don’t like having to pay to use the shower I would rather have this charge taken when I book, it’s the fact that a 4 minute shower isn’t long enough and you have to leave the shower to go put another 50p to get another 4 minutes, I have long hair and it takes that time to wash and condition it so I found it rather unpleasant I would rather add another £1 per day and have the shower free.

Caravans spaced out perfectly so lots of privacy. Our lodge was also impressive! Spotlessly clean and loads of amenities (towels/robes/cleaning items). Having a washing machine and dishwasher would make longer breaks brilliant. Tv was a great size and quality to what I’ve normally been used to so great bonus. Although I’m sure it’s family friendly I saw no facility’s for children which was absolutely fine for us, we prefer child free areas. Location was a 30min walk to the nearest bus stop or facility’s, so more driving then I would have liked. The breakfast van on site was closed for our trip unfortunately. (I did investigate in the immediate area were there was a tea rooms and restaurant but couldn’t find opening times) Overall fantastic break. Would look at returning but perhaps to a cottage stay next time! Few personal things (nothing the site could help with and certainly isn’t their fault) due to us having glorious weather for our stay I couldn’t use the hot tub after day 1 because of the amount of flys that landed in the water while using it. We tried to scoop them out but it was a losing battle! As soon as the lid was up they were dive bombing the water! there was also a lot of banging all during the day and I think there may be a shooting range near by? And our lodge was the closest to a generator that hummed all night, 1 of those things i couldn’t unhear once I’d heard it! Didn’t bother my husband in the slightest though.

I was a bit put off we paid £29 for our pitch with awing then went to the showers and you wanted 50p to use the showers having to put more in because didn’t last long enough but otherwise site quite nice.

Nice welcome from the owners and their dogs on arrival, was shown to our lodge ,Reel paradise (Winchester) , it was near a lake but not next to it. The lodge itself was very clean and very well equipped, the only thing missing was an oven mitt, the beds and bedding was the most comfortable Iv ever slept on. After walking/driving around Skegness, I’d say this site is definitely one of the nicer ones, very quiet, no children were running around while we were there , mature neighbours, no park or entertainment that I saw, there is a breakfast van . A good place for fishing and walking the dog. The only two things I didn’t like were where the hot tub was it was a bit of a wind tunnel running down the side of the lodge so it was the coldest/windiest area, it would help if they put a barrier/glass panels like the front of the decking around where the hot tub is so it’s got some cover from the elements. Also the toilet waste disposal hole for campers is right outside the bedroom window, before I realised what it was I spent the day blaming the dog thinking he had a bowel problem, the smell wasn’t as bad on the last day so I think the wind must have changed direction. I would definitely recommend this site and would be happy to stay again . My dog was also very relaxed here and he’s usually quite restless.
