"Loved our visit"

There’s plenty to keep children busy with a sand play area and swings. The lake itself is lovely and our children absolutely loved their water sports (age range 6-14). There’s a cafe if you don’t want to do it yourself at breakfast or lunch. The staff are friendly and laid back. As a suggestion for the future I would like to see recycling facilities. Apart from that it was perfect!

Lakeside cafe area looked good although we didn’t have the need to use it. Despite the campsite being quiet full it was very peaceful and quiet especially at night which was great. Toilet block is ok- cleaned once a day before the shower rush so stayed a bit grimy for the rest of the day. Hot water ran out quickly so not great showering in cold water. Washing area again ok but the hot water ran out so had to wash dishes in cold water.

Great spot for family camping, with added bonuses if you are an open water swimmer of water skier. Great kids faculties and a nice size spot for group family camping with friends

It was ok. The surrounding statics were very messy which spoilt the ambiance. The shower facilities were ok but very dirty.

"Simple but lovely"

G Spiers - Stayed with family, May 2019

We had a great time, the site was well maintained, the children enjoyed the sand pit. Our only complaint would be that the water was pretty cold both in the showers and the washing up block.

Very pretty site with the church in view and the bells on Sunday morning were lovely to hear. The toilet block, although basic, were fairly clean - the family room was definitely a better option to use. The lake was lovely - walked down in the mornings - small catering facility for hot drinks, breakfast and lunch. There is also a café at the entrance of the site - we had a reasonably priced cooked breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable stay and loved watching the sun go down over the lake with a bottle of fizz. The only slight negative was the showers were cold in the Men's & Women's in the morning, I managed to get a lovely warm shower in the family facilities but my partner didn't think of it and so she went without.
