Blarney Caravan & Camping Park

Blarney, County Cork

147 Reviews

Park Description

Blarney Caravan and Camping Park is a four-star family-run park situated eight kilometres from Cork city and three from Blarney village, but it’s secluded and peaceful enough to feel you’re in the middle of the country. There’s loads of open space for ball games, as well as a smartly-maintained play area and an 18-hole pitch and putt course (extra charge applies). The park is gently sloping and well sheltered, with views of Blarney Castle and the surrounding countryside.

Facilities at Blarney are immaculate, from the free showers to the camp kitchen, and it’s all neatly laid out among well-maintained grass and spacious pitches. Hardstanding pitches come with electric, a campervan service area and if you’re bringing a tent you can pick your own pitch in the separate camping area. There’s also free WiFi on site. A regular bus service runs from Cork City to Blarney Village.

"Entrance barrier"

Mr P Gaughan - Stayed with partner, Oct 2018

The only problem I have with the campsite was I had to get a member of staff to let me in through the entrance barrier and sometimes you have to ring a bell and wait for someone when they should provide you with a key card for the barrier on arrival

"Delightful stay at Blarney Caravan and Camping Park"

It was amazing for a start to find a camping site open in October, so we applaud you for that. The campers kitchen and lounge area was clean and warm - so welcomed, as the weather was a bit on the cold side. Lovely cared for grounds and excellent location to visit Blarney Castle. :-)

Well signposted from Blarney village and has great views over the surrounding countryside. Toilet block facilities kept really clean, though as there are only four showers, waiting may well be necessary. Some noise from nearby railway and main road if the wind is blowing from South or West. Staff extremely friendly and ready to offer assistance.

"Convenient, quiet, clean and well priced"

Mr F Hewetson - Stayed with partner, Sep 2018

A good quiet position a few miles North of Cork. Easily accessed from Cork ring road/N20. Well maintained and although quite large protective high hedges made it feel much smaller. Well positioned water and power points. Internet free and good for general purposes.... A good quiet position a few miles North of Cork. Easily accessed from Cork ring road/N20. Amenity blocks looked to have been upgraded recently and were clean and convenient. Helpful staff keen to answer queries.

Very nice site, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It would be better if the showers could give longer than a few seconds of water without having to continually push the button. "A lovely site and very easy access"

Mr A Lee - Stayed with partner, Sep 2018

A lovely site and very easy access, the facilities are first class. Owner very friendly and helpful. Although weather wasn't too good the grounds were quite firm and not a lot of mud. Will definitely call in again if we ever come back to Ireland.
