Tanglewood Caravan Park

Tanglewood is a friendly, family-run park on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. We are a quiet, friendly site, ideal for those relaxing, laid back holidays and with such beautiful surroundings you could look forward to those lovely summer's day walks. We have been established for over 30 years and pride ourselves on the quality of service that we provide. We are also a pet friendly site and welcome you to bring them along with you free of charge, after all they deserve a holiday too, the only thing we do ask is that dogs are kept on a lead when out on site.

We are surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside so if you are energetic or more of the relaxing holidaymaker, there is something for everyone, long hikes or cycling or take in the natural beauty whilst sitting having a lovely picnic in the beautiful sunshine.

We have 21 pitches for touring caravans all with electric hook ups and water/drainage facilities. We have 10 pitches for tents for all you campers out there. We have clean shower and toilet facilities with under floor heating and chemical toilet disposal facilities. We also have a fully equipped laundry.

From M6 South - leave the motorway at junction 41 and take the B5305 towards WIGTON. In WIGTON bear left at the monument and follow signs for B5302 SILLOTH. We are situated approximately 1 and 1/4 miles out of SILLOTH on the left hand side of the road, 4 miles on from ABBEY TOWN.

From the NORTH & EAST - from either Junction 43 (East) or junction 44 (North) head for CARLISLE. Follow signs for the west i.e. WORKINGTON at CARLISLE and THURSBY roundabouts, branch off the WIGTON by-pass for SILLOTH.
