Great holiday lodges with the BBQ and hot tub facilities. Well designed and beautiful layout. It had snowed on our visit, but the heater and hot tub sure kept us warm.WiFi connection available to stay connected to the world, though do expect phone signals to dip in and out when travelling around the countryside.Amazing staff, very friendly! The owner, Dave, was very welcoming and had great tips of where to visit locally.Difficult to reach local shops if not an experienced cyclist or owning a car, but driving to local amenities takes 10-30mins depending on where you go.The nearby Forest of Dean has a great family cycle trail, but plenty of walkers around if you aren’t a cyclist.Otherwise Symonds Yat Rock has a great hike with a fantastic view overlooking the River Wye.All in all, a great weekend getaway with a beautiful outdoor adventure awaiting for you
Friendly .. clean and all facilities easily accessible
Great site to stay. Dave was very helpful, everything very clean and tidy. Cafe really good.
Visited with my partner in a glamping ark. Super clean and looked exactly like the photos shown. Outside was a chiminea and BBQ we could use with a bench; great for in the Spring and Summer time. Cooking facilities inside the ark was; induction hob, toaster, microwave and kettle with plenty of pans and utensils. Campsite itself is in a beautiful location close to the Forest of Dean; great for walking and family days out. The communal showers and toilets were lovely and clean, fairly modern too. Lovely little cafe/restaurant on site, that do brilliant breakfasts and hot drinks. We visited Symonds Yat for some lovely walks and to see the viewpoint. Also kayaking and swimming in the river in summer is popular.
Dave was very welcoming and friendly on arrival, site was well maintained, cafe on site toilets and showers clean. Saw Donald the donkey and the pony and goats and a very friendly little black cat.
Thanks for accommodating us at the last minute. Communications were quick, clear and Greenway went over and above to make sure we were ok even though we were really late and booked last minute. Excellent site with great facilities, cafe is amazing. Clean and relaxed the shower block is superb and some fantastic cycling trails a short drive. Definitely be back
Stayed there after dropping my dog off in Lydbrook and flying out the following day to Germany. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean as was the whole site.I would definitely stay there again and it's open all year round.
Had a lovely breakfast bap and tea before we left .great service even gave our dog a little treat will definitely come back .
We arrived on a soggy Sunday! Dave was on hand to help us to our pitch. We were greeted by Tess, Ted and kids… Pygmy goats and Donald the donkey. The views are delightful and Greenway Farm is lovely. We welcomed the warm shower/bathroom and ample washing up area again enclosed and warm!Situated in the lovely village of Drybrook which is about a fifteen minute walk or 5 minute drive. The village pub was welcoming- Heart of Oak.Will definitely be popping back! Thanks Dave.
We did our first away from home at Christmas in our tent and didn`t regret it one bit. If my shift pattern allows it the we will do it again. We had a great pitch which was a stones throw from amenities ,theres a shop in Drybrook only minutes away. Welcomed from start to end .the site is very well laid out and maintained with good ground drainage, lovely idyllic spot with large pitches. Cannot fault it tbh. Dont forget to say hello to the donkey and goats and pony in the adjacent field. We had to leave one day early due to the severe weather forecast so played it safe. And we would like to extend our thanks to the couple in glamping pod who gifted us with a box of Roses...what a lovely touch. We hope you all had a Happy Christmas and you have a Happy New Year 2024
