"Three nights in the Cotswolds"

Lovely location, good first impression on arrival . However... there was no one around when we arrived (1pm) . There is a sign on a door saying reception but it was a small room with a fridge and freezer and leaflets but certainly not a reception. We then found a bell which we rang and waited. My wife was then asked into a house by who we assumed to be the owner/manager, this was very uncomfortable and felt like my wife was intruding especially when someone walked out of another room in their bra and quickly scuttled away, v unprofessional and embarrassing. We were shown to our pitch with minimal information and were left to it. There is a lovely looking ,relatively new toilet block with 3 toilets and 2 showers (female) , it’s just a shame they haven’t yet gotten rid of the awful eyesore that is the old toilet block . We were there for 2 nights and the block was not cleaned in that time, yes, loo roll was replaced but I noticed dead flies and bits of loo roll on the floor on our arrival and it was still there when we left, shame really because it wasn’t like they were busy. The ‘wash up area’ was v unpleasant too, no lighting, leaves and cobwebs etc which could easily be cleared were everywhere, if this is going to be replaced in the future then maybe a note to tell us? This place has such potential and the grass and bushes are kept beautifully , it’s just a shame the toilet block wasn’t.

"Lovely but very expensive"

Lovely park but they definitely want to maximise the profit. We were charged a 40% increase per night for having a big tent, even though it fitted on our pitch, and our car did too. If you pay for number of people and for on the standard pitch, what exactly is the ‘big... Lovely park but they definitely want to maximise the profit. We were charged a 40% increase per night for having a big tent, even though it fitted on our pitch, and our car did too. If you pay for number of people and for on the standard pitch, what exactly is the ‘big tent’ charge paying for? We had a lovely time but I’m not sure I’d pay £90 for two nights again in a hurry...

"Great site, helpful staff but poor showers."

Anonymous - Stayed with family, Jun 2018

Great clean camp site with nice new washrooms. However the showers should really have been installed with an extra drain outside the trays. The floor gets flooded every time and mopping it isn’t practical. I expect they will look tired fairly quickly.

"Basic but clean"

A very basic camp site but it was the clean and the staff were friendly, there was an honesty shop with a few things and showers were cleaned but a little cramped

Lovely location in which to relax and we appreciated the clean, modern toilet/shower block. It was evident the site was well run and the staff were friendly and helpful. The campsite was fairly full the 2 nights we were there with a number of Duke of Edinburgh groups but we were amazed how quiet and peaceful it was overnight.
