I did not realise when I booked that the room was above a pub, which was very noisy. More importantly that the access to the room was by a metal spiral staircase which one of our old dogs struggled with. I also thought it was was a shame that the pub, which was below a 'dog friendly ' room, did not allow dogs in! As our dogs could only access the room once, a day due to the staircase, and the pub did not allow them in. it made for much just hanging about the site...

"A great week"

S Flynn - Stayed with friends, May 2018

Had a superb stay at Claylands site is lovely. Only slight critism is toilet/shower block is out of the way I thought the block would be better situated near the tourers rather than having to walk through the statics to get to them. Will definitely go back. ****

"Very good quiet retreat.."

We stayed in the family room. The bathroom light was out and the extractor fan was very very loud. I think that’s broken. A recommendation a small fridge in the room as all parties that stayed had dogs.

We have camped here before and really enjoyed it, which was the reason we booked for a night on a return home. Arriving at our pitch we were shocked at how cramped it was and how noisy and rough the clientele were. We replenished our stocks and left which was disappointing as this was easily the most expensive site we had booked. It was also the only one that took our money upfront. There is absolutely no chance of us staying here again. Awful.

"Perfect close escape"

Our group enjoy this park as it is close enough to travel to from Preston after work and the kids are kept entertained by the secure park.
