Mr S Gibson - Stayed with partner, Jun 2018

£10 early arrival fee before 1pm dissappointing.Arrivals could be earlier due to plenty of pitches and eaxy access.Arriving at 1 or after the day has been wazted.Pitches need grass by the side of the hard standing and are tight on space.pPitches need attention

Junk left arpund broken cooker laundry bags unlandscaped areas broken down empty caravans. Lady in the bar having conversation and making sure she finishes that before she did any serving or collecting glasses. Lack of food provision on site. Dirty windows of swimming pool you were really filthy crazy golf strewn with leaves and weeds so didn't bother playing. More could be done very easily to bring this park up to scratch. All staff friendly enough and helpful with customer service. Think shop could be far better.

Beacon Fell was a lovely park with great views and easy access to beautiful countryside and the Lancashire coast. WE had a great time and would definitely consider returning. The only negative comment I would have regards the availability and quality of the food in the club house. We wanted to order some food after arriving on the Friday and were told that as they had been shut up until that weekend they could only offer 3 items. They then proceeded to forget to put the oven on so the food took about 1.5 hours to arrive, which is not great when you have hungry children with you.

Initial response to the accommodation was it was clean and tidy, however there was an underlying smell of wet dog and beer vomit. I febrezed all the soft furnishings and carpet, cleaned the kitchen floor and burnt incense to get rid of the smell. The following morning I went to reception and spoke to Alana mentioning I'd tried to get rid of the smell but it still permeated the entire caravan. The maintenance manager, Matty, was present and immediately set about correcting the problem. He gave us the keys to a brand new caravan. I was absolutely bowled over by their quick response to resolve the problem. Throughout our week at Beacon Fell, Matty and Tito asked if everything was OK for us. The site was clean and well maintained. Everyone from reception staff, maintenance staff and cleaners were conscientious and professional. The site is well situated from the town of Longridge with a good choice of shops and eateries and to the stunningly beautiful countryside with accessible walks along the fell. We would definitely recommend this site and will return ourselves in the near future. Kind regards Mrs Sharon Scott

Would still highly recommend and definitely revisit

Overall we had a good long weekend, the caravan was lovely, it had everything we needed. Overall we had a good long weekend, the caravan was lovely, it had everything we needed. We have a 5yr old so didn't use the clubhouse as we were out all day and when we returned it she was shattered. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was our caravan door opened more or less straight onto the road so there was nowhere for her to safely play without me constantly watching her.
